I was at school with Tim and if you look at the old clips from Auf Wiedersein Pet, that was how I rmember him. Although, I did see him in Soho one day filming Frank Stubbs Promotes but I didn't go up and say hello. I wish I had now because I am so proud of what he has achieved

As I said, an eccentric even then! He used to always wear a green army jacket and I saw him in the street one day, he was holding a recorder. He said to me, "Listen to what I've just made up" and he played something on the recorder which was a bout five notes long and didn't sound like anything musical!! He was about 16 then. I saw him in Soho many years later, filming but I didn't stop to talk to him because I didn't want to disturb him at work. I always try to watch whatever he is in.

I love these tributes to Tim. I went to school with him in Battersea and he was such a funny guy, even though a little eccentric, He is now such a wonderful actor.

I watched 'All or Nothing' as well.. and the eyes are just so expressive! That scene where he cries near the end of the film and you see his eyes fill up....he looks so sweet and sad.

And it's really good the way his wife sees the 'error of her ways' towards him and kneels and kisses his hand before their big hug and make up! How could anyone not love him?

Just been watching Timothy in "Mr. Harvey Lights A Candle". What TOTALLY amazing acting from him! I've been a fan of his since the 70s. So glad that he's still around since he nearly died from leukaemia a few yrs back.
