@Zoza15 Dance is making a comeback in the USA recently, although it might be brief. Lady Gaga does a lot of her songs with dance like music like bad romance. After all, she got her start in europe before coming to the usa, and was in the eurodance 4 a bit.

Kate Ryan is one of my favs, her cover of the promise you made, in english and french, the latter being the better version imho, is like an unofficial athem for canada for me :) The liberal or ndp parties should use it as the official party song.

@Zoza15 Jazeker. Vanaf het vijfde leerjaar krijg je je eerste lessen Frans. Het niveau is daar wel laag evenwel. Hoe dan ook: meestal leert men echt Frans in het middelbaar onderwijs, maar van echt niveau enkel op ASO (hoogste niveau).

In Belgium are 3 official languages

Flemish (dutch), French and German.

She is dutch speaking.

That is because her French lyrics are rehearsed. Speaking isn't. BTW, this interview was on French Canadian TV so the interviewer was accommodating Kate by talking to her in English. If she was better with French the entire interview would have been in French.
