@sisibobo volunteer and get involved, its my dream job too! you just have to put your foot in the door and try and learn as much as you can and soon you will see that your dream job can become a reality. i volunteer at this aquarium now and i love it, best decision i ever made (:

@rockgirlvids Hey! I'm 14 too! Though I'm almost 15. I've wanted to work with marine life for almost as long as I have been alive. I've always wondered exactly how I would do it but now I've got an idea. One problem though. I live in Kansas! The closest aquarium is Omaha Nebraska 3 hours away from where I live and they dont have dolphins. Thedolphingirl I need advice!

This is what i wanted. Somewhere some how i lost my way and it breaks my heart. I cried the last time i saw a dolphin show because deep down i knew that i made the biggest mistake of my life by thinking my crutches (Michigan and lack of money) meant i couldn't have the one thing i wanted.

you may not remember but about two years ago i watched this video and talked to you about it and my fear of water but my love for dolphins. well i went to discovery cove 2 years ago to face my fear and..i absolutly LOVED IT, it was my dream and now another 2 years later im doing the trainer for a day program for my 16th bday. thank you soo much this video still inspires me when sometimes i feel its impossible to get over my phoebia :D congrats on making it to be a trainer! i actually live 2 hrs

University of Florida, and then I transferred to the University of South Florida to complete my degree. I was a biology major at both schools.

and not being scared whatsoever so i finally found my destiny with these wonderful creaures now i am on here trying to find some pointers..even though im only a freshman i want to get a headstart to start my life with the dolphins...and pointers on colledge that u could give me?

Take science classes; pursue a degree in biology, psychology, zoology... anything of that nature. :) Most of all - get hands-on experience by volunteering at a local zoo or aquarium.

wow thts amazing...i am only in 9th grade but i am scared to death of the ocean and sharks..basically water..but the weird thing is dolphins absolutly enchant me...and i am going to be a dolphin trainer..after swimming with a dolphin at discovery cove named dexter:D i finally knew what i waz going to do because i went into tht water not feeling fearful whatsoever even though i waz in the water with a animal tht could kill me in a instant if it really wanted to..(sorry i wrote too much)
