  • The video at the beginning wasted 30 seconds on production credits, you would be lucky if an employer actually sits through it to watch your actual video - get rid of it!

  • Yep, I agree. I think that the whole piece is too long, especially now that the job market has shrunk and there are an estimated ten workers available for every job opening. IMHO, a 1-2 minute piece may be more appropriate. If I had it all to do over again, I would keep the interview format, but shoot it with an interviewer and three cameras. Thanks for the advice. It is always appreciated.

  • I got lots of views and only one interested employer. I think the problem is the the lack of marketing on my part (I got a job shortly before posting it.) In retrospect I think I would have have filmed it with an actual interviewer and a three-camera format (me+interviewer+2-shot)in a less cluttered room and I would definitley would have promoted it more.
