  • My youth pastors do the same things hahaha :)

  • AHAHAHAHA! That rocks!

  • go Hokies!

  • Are you ready?

Have u lied? Have u stolen? Jesus said if you look at a women with lust you have committed adultery with here in your heart.

If God judge’s u by the Ten Commandments will u be innocent or guilty? Does this concern you? The Bible says despise the value of your eye compared to the value of your soul. would u sell your eye for a million dollars? And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. needgod.com

  • @standingontruth1

And people wonder why there are athiests.

  • HAHA thats hilarious!!!

  • Love this!

  • This video is a hilarious video, people shouldn't be so angry in the comments page.

  • Lmao i jumped when the dude came out of the trash can.

  • Is that the baptismal pool! O.o lol

  • Dorks?

    I don't think so.

    But this is pretty funny.

    Keep up the good works.

    PS.Canada rocks for JESUS!

  • you sound like ty... God Bless :P

  • i think our youth pastor does the same things!... hehe

  • I hope it is what you do. Wonderful.

  • and to everyone who said they know Youth Pastors who surf, go mudding, hang out and are goofy thats great, BUT it doesn't mean anything if they don't take those relationships that they've formed with kids through that stuff and then show them the love of Christ and His message.

I find this video funny, because i'm training to be a youth pastor (i think its funny for people already working in the area or who are planning to go into the area).

  • i find it funny that people are saying this video was a waste of time, that they could have spent this time out 'evangelizing'... what do you mean by evangelize? If you meant anything along the lines of standing on a street corner waving a bible around THAT is a waste of time.

Evangelism is about creating relationships with people. You can't change someones mind or help them to see the truth if they don't trust you. That's the whole purpose of being a youth pastor!

  • I am in training to be a youth minister at a camp! I work at Bethel Christian Camp in Gaston, SC. My youth pastor goes hunting and muddin ALL THE TIME with the guys from youth. He's a real cool guy! He can definitely share with you about how God is faithful and how we should rely and trust HIM through thick and thin. =)

  • awesome Video this is totally what i do all day

  • this is a JOKE people. my gosh. lol

chill out, its not like theyre saying this is what actual youth pastors do, or that this is even what they do. Calm down

Youth pastors, the best ones anyway, are fun, goofy, and crazy but at the same time know how to live right and not beat a Bible in your face while still teaching you something. and the teens they reach out to respond better to someone thats fun and goofy trying to tell them about God then sum1 whos all up-tight and stuck up. Nice vid guys

  • My youth pastor surfs and eats slurpees all week and makes something up 5 min b4 we start on sud lols

  • I am also a Youth Pastor and this is def. not what I do. I make hospital calls and am involved in worship and the WHOLE church. I love this video, it is funny. Youth Pastors tend to be the crazy ones of the Church because they have to be and teens respond to them. The people bashing this video need to "take a chill pill," like celica860 said.

And teens love crazy!! They don't want to hear the gospel from youtube but from a person themselves. These guys do that. this video is just for fun.

  • Maybe I was a weird teen, but I didn't love crazy. I just wanted to learn about and follow God.

I disagree that Youth Pastors are the most influential people in teens' lives. Their parents are.

I will admit my youth group was more energetic than regular service. So when I became too old for my Youth Group, I went to the Adult Group, and fell asleep every Sunday.

  • No wonder you fell asleep "blueskunk12". Your church taught you to expect worship and bible study to be entertainment based. Is this what Jesus taught? Ask Chinese Christians, or believers in muslim countries.

  • @f8beenthere

Can't find my post, but I think you're being a bit blithe about what my Church taught, based on a 400 character post.

The entertainment I remember in my Youth Group featured one guy standing in front with a guitar.

Please think instead of assuming you know everything before you fire personal accusations at someone you do not know.

Or at least follow your own advice and ask yourself is that what Jesus would say before you post.

  • I'm a youth pastor, and I think this video is hilarious though it is FAR from the truth in my life. Some people need to take a chill pill and learn to laugh...especially Christians sometimes.

  • Wait.............wheeeeeerrre is the gospel? Wisen up. What a disgrace. Complete waste of resources. Repent and seek the Lord for mercy and guidance.

  • ???

  • some churches have youth pastors and choose to go that route... no reason for coming on here and degrading them... its part of the great thing with there being all kinds of churches... you can find one w/o child care if you please... just remember these men are still allowed to have FUN i like the title to a book by cuck swindoll i think it is... laugh again... it is ok to have fun as a christian

  • ok... this is funny stuff... and yeah it probably is pretty close to the truth in to many churches... just sad that you are getting ridiculed for having fun making a video... and glad ya make it clear that it is only a spoof... i hope some people just did not read that it is a spoof prior to commenting in a harsh way... this by no means says you are not studying in the word to teach those young people... and this is comming from a paul washer fan also and i do agree with him but hey we have

  • This is disgusting. Christ died for THIS tripe? Get out there and share the gospel. I can't believe you get rubes to donate money to pay your salaries.

  • sad to say it's probably true.

  • This would be funnier if it wasnt so close to reality. Stop wasting your time making videos about wasting your time - your kids are going to hell, and I do mean the 'Hell' hell. Cmon... wisen up.

  • The time and effort used to make this is horrible. I agree with Paul Washer and many other REAL Pastors (that are left) that today's Youth Pastors water down the Gospel and do too many "hip" movie/sports themed junk. The time used to make this video could have been used to Evangelise. "Do you see all the people sinking down..." - Keith Green.

  • I disagree. I don't think it's right to be saying it's wrong to make funny videos. There is nothing sinful in that. God gave of the ability to be creative and to serve others through entertainment (ie: what about Christian comedians... is that a sin?)

  • HOWEVER... I do agree that many youth pastors water down the gospel and refuse to labour in the Word. If we went the biblical route, we would have no youth pastors AT ALL. Churches would teach fathers, who in turn would lead their families and be the "youth pastors" of their own families.

  • In a perfect world that would happen and would be amazing to see! But the reality is that it is not like that at all! We do need youth Pastors because they become the most influential people in teens lives. You hear that in many testimonies. The crazy and funny youth pastors are the ones that seem to make the most positive difference in teens lives.

  • They may be the most influential people in teens lives. If they are, it explains why so many "youth" are not near a church 4 years after they graduate H.S. The youth ministry experiment failed. The statisitcs prove it. Just like the seeker sensitive movement. Ask the founder at Willow Creek. Neither is Biblical. Rather than believe what Paul said, (" the gospel is foolishness to those who are dying") we try to entertain them into the Kingdom. Make it easy. It's time to tell them about Luke 9:23

  • @f8beenthere sadly, you're right in some aspects.

Alot of youth pastors don't do a good job of preparing kids for the real world. So many students come from sheltered homes, just hear watered down bible stories their whole life, then when they get to college and someone confronts them about their faith they turn away because they aren't solid in their faith.

I'm planning on teaching students Apologetics, Theology, and Hermeneutics so they can be prepared for the real world.

  • @BradSpead7 however, i'm not going to stop being ME when i do it. If i have to be whacky sometimes, i'll do it, but i will not stop loving my students and doing my best to disciple and evangelize to those who need it and show them that TRUE Christianity is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and prepare them to know WHY they believe what they believe, not just indoctrinate them with Bible verses and church songs.

  • this is so funny haha haha haha lol lol lol haha haha haha lol lol lol have you ever listnd to the audio preview if you type the haha part or lol part it sounds so funny

  • that looks about right...lol!

  • Pretty funny.

  • =]]]]]]

  • :))))))))))))

  • that was awesome, i wanna come work with u lot!

  • lol. i liked that.

  • Haha. thats awesome. our church is called HAAC, and soemtimes we do video spoofs called "HAAC yo crib" where we sneak into youth members bedrooms and make jokes of their persoanl belongings, greta laughts!God is amazing!

  • No wonder why they are called wildside lol
