  • Wow.

  • Wroght irons aren't made like how they were made before. It's all china mass produced cold rolled, not wrought from hot solid bars.

  • harvey and claire were wonderful people, who gave me many guided tours through their museum

  • were they using real wrought iron? or mild steel?

  • @MrThahey

Mild steel. And this caused some problems during the forging of some of the parts. One of the finials did not match the original because mild steel will not split as well as wrought iron.

  • to bad there aint no Smiths with that mentality of ...CRAFTSMEN... here in Cali.. what a bunch of Pretenders out here...oh my.. (BULLSHITTERS 101)

  • at 1:21 the camera work they did attempted to cover the modern graffiti that would have taken us out of the "old age" mentality....cool to see it though

  • WOW! How wonderful to see the Yellin Shop again and all of these great smiths at work! Thanks so much for sharing this high quality, informative, historical film with the world!

Be sure to see all 6 parts!
