1952/53 Was the end of Clothes Rationing, in England. So the affluent students (college/university types) Celebrated by reinventing the Edwardian clothing Style. Hence the Drape. This style of clothing caught the imagination of less socially desirable, the local gang landers, then onto the Street, as the Bad Boy image came of age, with the Rock`n`Roll Music being the catalist, rounding off the image, nicely. This is teddyboy rock n roll for sure but no way can you put this under the same label as ROCKABILLY ... It Has Nothing to do with the rockabilly sound or look Please Get It right.

i didnt see anythink saying this was rockabilly? yeah its all teddyboy and remember teds were around long before rockabillys. dont get me wrong i like all rock n roll> teddyboy>rockabilly music. but alot of teds didnt when it started comeing over.

rockabilly was the 50's when was teddys im from from tx so im not sure .

Teddyboys were around from 1953ish onwards and became associated with rock and roll around 1955/6.
