  • @TheCrismel They killed the children only because they didn't want them growing up and taking revenge for their parents.

  • @supremeG1000 those fucker are very sick in the head

  • @ashsnar Yes, they are . :(

  • Well done, thanks... saw Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng myself just a few days ago. Powerful vibes come from both those places... I met Bou Meng on the way out, one of 7 survivors of Tuol Sleng Prison (14,000-20,000 killed). Bought a book of his memoirs, he signed it and shook my hand, they took our picture together... me standing in stunned silence. What an honor to meet a man who has suffered so much and seen so many others suffer, his wife was killed... And he still manages to smile today.

  • @14erjohn Damn, dont say that little...Have you spoke, what did he said how was it there?

  • ขอไว้อาลัย เรื่องมันเศร้า

  • Hitler beat him, and Stalin beat Hitler-why does this happen everywhere?

  • if anyone wish to kill anyone.. they are no differ to those who have done wrong.. peace is forgiving and let God alone give the right mercy or judgement for those men.. Let us pray that peace may fill all the hearts of every human.

  • do not make fun of pol pot.. he's evil/sick.. yes.. but making a joke out of something serious isn't wise

  • Make a difference and spread the word. Please sign this petition and in the comments put what state you are from.

  • This is very sad.

  • sad to see the faces of the children.if there's a place worst than hell, please god, send pol pot and his pig soldier there.

  • Some say never again, It will happen again wherever evil men lust for total power

  • Hey football cool channel you have also. Checking out some of your videos, I didn't know where to post so I wrote here.

  • The only good communist is a dead communist.

  • i got only one word "WHY?"

  • ppl like pol pot i could just go up 2 and snap there neck in front of everybody

  • this is very sad

  • After the Khmer Rouge were driven from power by the Vietnamese in 1979, the United States and its allies refused to allow the Vietnamese-backed Cambodian government to take the seat of Cambodia at the United Nations. The UN seat, by default, remained in the hands of the Khmer Rouge. In effect, the US & the UN supported the Pol Pot regime. Pol Pot fled to Thailand where he lived for the next six years. Thailand is a US ally.

  • may the victims souls find new life and peace

  • this is sick Pol Pot I hope you are burning in hell right Now!

  • hope that we will learn what? that the planet is OVER POPULATED? cause that's what it is and killing fields or not the future is the destruction of humans for resources.

  • He also says, “Look at me now. Do you think I am a violent person? No. So, as far as my conscience and my mission were concerned, there was no problem.” This came from the lips of one of the twentieth centuries’ worst killers! It is certain that people are the most dangerous when they think they are doing the right thing. Millions were disappointed when the 73 year old Pol Pot died in April 1998, before he could be brought to trial.

  • Pol Pot remained unrepentant for his terrible crimes. After killing the Minister of Defense for the Khmer Rouge and his friend of forty years, Pol Pot was put on trial and sentenced to life in prison. In an interview during his trial, Pol Pot says, “First I want to let you know that I came to join the revolution, not to kill the Cambodian people.”

  • Pol Pot’s regime is surprisingly similar to the French Revolution, 200 years before. Both revolutions began in the French capitol of Paris. Both revolutions conducted deadly purges, resulting in the death of many. Also, when they took over, both Pol Pot and the French declared, “This is the year zero.” They both made their own 10 day calendar and rejected the thought of any God. Both revolutions were curtailed within a decade.

  • @bronco3250 It's true that Pol Pot and co studied in Paris and took impetus from the May 1968 student protests. You only have to see a Godard film like La Chinoise to see the radical ideas floating around at the time.

  • Is this the Communism that other people wanted?

    sorry for them :(

  • @markzkie1 This is not, never will be and never has been communism... this is horror.

  • @VoxJoxx You need to go do some research into the policies of Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, and other "communist" revolutionaries. Communism is an ideology where the upper and middle classes are eliminated and power transferred to the government. By necessity anyone with differing viewpoints are silenced. After Pol Pot returned from college in France, he set out to create a utopian, agrarian (communistt) society in Cambodia, and all Biz owners, white collar workers, educated were murdered.

  • @mentaloaf I am acutely aware of their tainted ideologies, they made choices that pushed forward their chosen principles, they may have known of the necessities to evolve a social structure, but now human consciousness has changed and now we will do it differently, no leaders can be allowed that much power, no leaders will have that much power, there will be no leaders in our future. No thanks to any of them, they taught us only one thing, time cannot be rushed.

  • @VoxJoxx You are an ignorant moron.

  • @Hogey0 Your limited use of language is stunted and your understanding of the unconscious is none existent, my advice read some Jung and Plato, start with 'Plato's cave' once you have understood this, comment again....

  • So sad.

  • I can say without hesitation that there are men in this world I would kill on sight without remorse...Pol Pot would be on my list if he were still alive today.

  • I can say without hesitation there are men in this world I would kill on sight without remorse...Pol Pot would have been on my list.

  • i was there when i was 6 years old. scary stuff.

  • Y ? i really cant understand what is " meaning " of this for.....why kill those civilian like this ? what wrong with them ?

  • @tougewaja the khmer rouge wanted to eliminate the educated

  • everyone is so you. the ones being totured, and the toturers. extremely sad:(

  • I'm going to the killing fields next year, this is so shocking.. I cant wait to wait my respects to all those murdered.. this touches my heart so muchh x

  • Ironically the only way to end the killing is to kill the killers.

  • you know, its all under communism... :)

  • what is this song by its cool.

  • THE KHMER ROUGE HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH SOCIALISM, COMMUNISM, KARL MARX OR FREDRICK ENGELS. FASCISM CALLS ITSELF COMMUNISM, AND EVEN THE NAZI'S Z STANDS FOR 'SOCIALIST' IN GERMAN. IT IS A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL DISGUISE USED TO BOTH OPPRESS, AND AS WE SEE HERE, KILL OR SLAUGHTER THEIR 'OWN' CITIZENS, ALL THE WHILE DEMONIZING THE TRUE NAME OF LIBERATION. THE 'REPUBLIC' IS DEAD. IF YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, AND THE TYRANNY OF THE RULERS, ABANDON ALL HOPE.

  • communism is bullshit. it is impossible. in russia there was no communism, when lenin die, stalin capture the power, and start building industrial empire of totalitarism, when stalin die, started ununderstandable bullshit. but communism is bullshit whatever.

  • We let this happen before will we again?

  • Just terrible. I really have nothing to say, something so tragic cannot be explained in such few words. I have never had to go through such pain, heartache, that I will never know what these people had to deal with. I shed a tear to show that I am here and I do care. Never will these people be forgotten.

  • Its not the communists or the facists. You can have a belief without the radicalism, death and carnage.

  • someone had written 'I hope this never happens again' ? It's happening right now in North Korea where something like a quarter of the population are in Gulags. Throughout the 20th century there have been cases of genocide roughly every 10 or 20 years. Will it ever stop?

  • communist = devil

  • Ideologies all too often create obsessed, murderous disciples who are blind to everything else in their zeal to obey the master. Put communism right at the top of the idiot list.

  • Never Again happens Again, Again, and Again. The human race will never learn. We are all doomed to repeat our mistakes. As much goodness and love there is in the world, we are hardwired to commit evil.

  • I just went there on the 12th september has changed alot, such a sad place

  • Everywhere that communists were in control brought the same results. To this day fascists and national socialists are hunted, yet not a single Bolshevik was ever brought to justice for the vast crimes committed in Russia. Why is that? Look at how hard it was to bring any of the Khmer Rouge to justice. Two of the greatest mass murderers in history, Stalin and Mao, died in their beds.

  • Sometimes an aura never lies. This is significant.

  • A very moving video on a very tragic topic. What is even more tragic tho, is that the attrocities, especially at S-21 were carried out by children. I wonder how they are coping with what they did as adults today.

Sometimes I think of what would've happened had the Vietnamese not intervened in time for these people.

  • TY Hanoi Jane. TY so much.

TY hippies, TY liberals. I guess you can get bacl to your pot and feel great for ending the war and allowing the vietcong.......to do this.

    Smoke up.

    TY

  • @bronco3250

Please note that Vietnam was who stopped the killers in Cambodia. It was China that was allied to the Khmer Rouge, and Vietnam (Vietcong/'Communists') who opposed them.

  • @BuddhaRising Ok, true. Either way, if this country rallied around to defend these defenseless people from the communist regimes, this wouldnt have happened.

Instead this country capitulated to the liberal communists over here. They had no idea how to conduct this "war" and as a result the United States abandoned them to their fate.

I blame the liberals in this country that hamstrung the generals. Liberals in this country are commy sympathizers, perriod.

    Hanoi Jane.

  • What this nice song?

  • God o God these bitches can rot in hell killing all these people there nothing tht is sick nd they dont even feel bad fucken filthy bitches

  • Evil did triumph in this era. Because men that has the capability to stop this did nothing.

  • People write stuff like "god bless" when this god would have been sitting and watching this horrible evil the whole time, in a world it was supposed to have totally created, while it did NOTHING!

If this god is real, it is sicker and more disgusting than the Khmer Rouge.

  • beautiful video , im confused why do they have numbers around their necks and where can i find this place ?

  • THIS IS WHAT THE ELITES PLAN FOR AMERICA!

  • i hope all these victims found some kind of peace.. rip

  • thiss kills supporters usa and chnia

  • thiss kills supporters usa and chnia

  • The Chinese knew all about the Killing. They are the ONLY Embassy in Cambodia in 1975-1978. They supported Pol Pot since Pol Pot didn't have the Power. After took Power in 1975, went to China, came back w/ new name - Pol Pot (real name was Saloth Sar). The Killing starts then. 1.7 million were killed or starved to death. In the late 1978, Pol Pot was used by China again to kill the Vietnamese, if all the killings were successed then China will kill Pol Pot and invade Cambodia, Laos, & Vietnam.

  • People are so scared of gore that all of this gets repressed... my <3 goes out to everyone that had to suffer.

  • i cant even comprehend how something like this could happen.

1975 to 1979- how can this have happened so recently. i dont even... </3

RIP to all those who died.

    ive given up on humanity.

  • Why did God let this happen ?

  • @spk969 There is a God my friend. This is not His work it is satan's work, our work. I suggest that if you want to blurt out such blaiton insults you do it where no one will hear you.

  • @eggsaladinthetub I do believe in God. But at that time we prayed for God 's help but the killing will never stop now you said that was not God work (or God's time) it is satan's work. well ....what ever you said. I still believe in god, i'm not fighting you on the internet like many pple do. if you believe in god too you are not going to fight or argue with me. i just watch this video because it is about my birth country. Thanks my friend. ..and i'm not insult you or anyone else like you said.

  • @poodtang1 We let it happen, not God. If those all those that died believed and repented than they all have went.

  • What I can't understand is WHY THE BABIES?

  • @Abrideatlast they hit the babies heads with the trees or toss babies into the air and come down with rifle below. Why the babies? when they didn't like the parent(s) the whole family or the whole "blood in the family" had to die.

  • this is so sad hopefully they saved there family

  • who did this?

  • Comment removed

  • @drumsordie who did this? answer is: the Chinese supported Pol Pot (real name was Saloth Sar) and his soldiers called the Khmer Rouge, Khmer = Cambodia, Rouge = Red (in French).

  • Stalin's actions were much more horrid than these. But I pay respect to these victims also. RIP to the Khmer victims.

  • Shame for people who continue to hide these horrors.

  • @happymana And USA have ever hated communists. that's incredible.

  • @Eminrex I really don't understand your use of words, can you reconstruct your comment so that it makes sense. Thanks

  • @happymana Cambodia under Pol Pot was communist. That was a communist system.

  • it's just sad what some people are capable of doing towards others

  • RIP

  • Do you know what pisses me off????

When i see some idiot college student with a Che, Stalin, Mao t-shirt and he thinks it's "cool"......

  • @agriculturaltrading ; don't hesitate to spit on them... spit directly in their eyes.

  • communism-No God,,,,

  • It's worst than Japanese concentration camps during WW2

  • In Democratic Kampuchia (Khmer Rouge) 1975 - 1979, human life costed less than a bullet.

  • I´m Khmer and i live with my Parents in Germany my father survival the Genocide

  • The communism for the libery.

  • It isn't known because they where communists, that's why. You bet your fucking ass that it would've been known and teached if it was nazism for example. That's the problem, the fucking communists all stay in the background, despite that it's the system that has cost most lives.

  • People are merely animals with greater abilities than most, such things will continue to happen throughout the world - hopefully others will always be appalled by and fight against it.. there is no reason why we should attempt to reach what seems unattainable.

  • It's 2:43 AM, here I am scrolling along through youtube, with a glance I started to burst in tears. , I thought my memories would fade away, yet everything is still so real to me. Where was God, who is God? I tried to beleive, but I am the only one left in the family. I am still searching for the answer? Am I speared or am I curse.

  • @k4952jz47 : You are not alone! Many Cambodians lost everything and everyone just like you. My mother lost 4 of her blood siblings and my dad lost about 5 during the Pol Pot regime. Where is justice when we need one?

  • THERE IS NO GOD

other wise he is going to prevent suffuring of the innocent

  • As Jesus was dying on the cross he said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do"..........how true.

  • @MissJuneBennett

Sorry, but they very well knew what they were doing. That's the sad thing about what happened in Cambodia, Nazi-Germany, Rwanda, etc. There's a very dark side to human nature and there's little point in saying they didn't know what they were doing. Possibly the saddest thing of all is that the leadership of the Khmer Rouge actually thought they were doing the morally right thing.

  • This is the most saddest thing I have ever seen.

  • Can anyone tell the diffence between communism and fascism...?

  • When you take any ideology to an such an extreme that you're bringing suffering to that many people and killing so many, it doesn't matter what name it goes by.

    It is evil.

  • @KaelGotRice

    Great answer.

  • @KaelGotRice It is actually considered ultranationalism... when you care for your country so much that you go to extremes to make it "better". Such as Hitler getting rid of all of the jews, disabled etc. "for the good of the nation"

    ...and yes it is evil

  • @BritishBeliever

Yeah Communism has killed way more people...

  • @BritishBeliever Comunism's point is to monopolize the government for the good of the people sustained by the fact that capitalism has ran out of control. Communists believe that by force they will be able to control the privatization of companies and services. This is actually the point of communism, while sustaining a socialist point, it is acheived by force. That last point is what is most similar to fascism; their monopolization objective is for an elite group thought to be superior

  • @BritishBeliever to have benefits above all else "inferior" people. The economic system goes completely in hand with the political system and has positive aspects only for those on top. I just thought I'd answer your question, but I understand what you are saying. To these people it makes no difference what the hell kind of point the asshole had..it's an atrocity to obsceneley kill people for your own benefit orr for any reason at all..it is not justified in any way...

  • @BritishBeliever All form of any governess that carrying monetary funds! They are all Nazis, when peoples manufacture way too many lost humans on their own countries†††††††

  • @BritishBeliever All form of any governess that carrying monetary funds! They are all Nazis, when peoples manufacture way too many lost humans on their own countries†††††††

  • @BritishBeliever The ideal of communism is that people are equal. There're no poor or rich people. It's the society where people work and share the good with other without selfish. My teacher told me that once people reach to communism, they don't use money or such thing like that (you can go to the store and take whatever you want but don't have to pay and if you don't need anymore, you just simply put it back on the shelf so the others can use)_ Unrealistic

  • @BritishBeliever Fascism is focusing on the race and to put one group of people over the other through force. For me, they are crazy ideal and unreal. Both ideology have the same method is to get their goal through force.

  • @BritishBeliever muslimism

  • @BritishBeliever Yep, communists were main ally of british/US in ww2 and coincidentally won the war.Except that it's a subjective choice, like colour.I would choose nazis, they had best looking uniforms.

  • @BritishBeliever facism ruled by one leader and he says all and he is the one to make the rules

    communism is for the people

most of the time, communicsm just turns to dictaorship

  • @aznboi1398

it never works, as the reason is....the human factor...ruins Communism...

  • @BritishBeliever it was neo-imperialism that caused the Vietnam war.

  • Pol pot will rot in hell for this...

  • Wow, so sad, all those children too...

We left them to die in 1975...The insanity, it's still here, there will be more left to die in Iraq and Afghanistan....

  • God bless the victims and Cambodia

  • @pimapdiendai Thx u vry mch. U r a vry KIND person. I lost 5 members in my family too.

  • Snow Patrol - Run

  • what song is this please?

  • I'll let discussions carry on, but comments saying "Death to a country/it's people" are going to be deleted.

    Thank you.

  • this is the demo lesson chinese Mao&Ho teach their people heroes die like hell world none justice education than business blood in chinese gold

  • You don't think of communism of being the evil it was made out to be, until you see this.

I wonder if America could have done something?

  • UCONNgirl, unfortuntely, America did do something "NOTHING".that is, after we bombed Cambodia without approval from Congress/American people. Henry Kissinger played HIS games and have YET to pay the price for what he caused.

"president nixon" and his advisor "kissinger" Did NOT want it known. We did not hear or know anything was happening til it was over, and even then, THEY LIED!

And bigdave46148, the sad part, is Henry Kissinger is still in "charge" today.... now can you believe that?

  • @lottie21664

We werent boming innocent people when we did. We were taking the fight to the VC when we did have an incursion into Cambodia.

Do you even know why we bombed inside the Cambodian border?

In West Vietnam, US troops would come under attack by Viet Cong guerrillas, and the VC would retreat back across the border into Cambodia. They KNEW that US infantrymen could NOT pursue them across the border, because Cambodia was a "neutral" nation.

  • @lottie21664

The VC had loads of tunnels and paths into Cambodia. These led to massive bases and depots inside Cambodia where the communist guerrillas knew they were "safe" from US counterattack.

Put yourself in the place of our boys.

Getting ambushed on the daily, but you cant do SHIT because they run back over the border.

Sadly, US military had no authorization to conduct operations in Cambodia due to Cambodia's neutrality.

We did what we had to do.

  • Comment removed

  • @lottie21664

Its the same situation in Afghanistan. Taliban fighters use Pakistan as a safe zone, because Pakistan won't authorize the US to operate in their country.

    its bullshit

  • I know that is what they did. I wish it had happened otherwise. It's a sad chapter in american history.

  • We just keep letting history repeat it's self-Europe,Cambodia,Rawanda,Darfour....We'll never learn

  • KaelGotRice , thank you so much for posting this wonderful video, it is amazing of bring the history of Cambodia back and let the world know there still going on like this our world. Thank again!!!!

  • 'm not telling You, noone can tell, what to do. But I started from myself. I'm building my life from the begining. Cause i did nothing, throught lill less than half of my life. So watch, and learn about Yourself. About that what you fell at now. On first step, you can't do more. Anything also will be less than understanding of feelings.

I wish You more than hope. I wish you Strong Will.

  • Hm. I'm wondering, what that all people, authors of those notes, Will Do. COUNTING ON GOD? BLESSING? HOPE? WTF!?!?! What's wrong with You people?? can you say something more than words of anger, hate, despair? Are You so weak? can you do something more than waiting for a miracle? YOUR FUTURE IS IN YOUR OWN HANDS!. Rest in peace to all your souls.

Maybe if cambodia had oil the world wouldn't have stood bye and let this slaughter happen.

  • What is really sad is that there are leaders in this world right now who say that things like this and the holocaust during world war 2 never happened.

The people of the world need to stand up to these leaders and tell them, no more.

  • my sister she die in cambodia
