There's a load of those near the Staples Center, makes me want to go there again. Most people call them Danger dogs or Tijuana dogs. Those venders are actually illegal in L.A since they grill bacon which is a health violation.

i'm pretty sure these dogs showed up in first in Tijuana then LA and after in SF. we called em danger dogs, heart attack dogs or street meat and they're hella common all over here LA.  the venders aren't licensed, after handling cash they handle your food, and the carts are makeshift ghetto comals. because of codes and licenses they used junk car rules to apply to food carts. when a cop rolled up, i saw a vender ditch the whole cart with dogs cooking. so good they're illegal.

They should definitely get informed and follow the procedures to set up their little business, but since you need MOney to start a business, permits, proper equipment, etc. honest hard working little entrepreneurs like her are hold back. Less restrictions i believe is better.
