  • R they done with socks cuz my socks army that stretchy

  • I just have to say" You are the Bomb" Best mom ever

  • That kid got amazing hair color 0_o

  • i tryed this on my 7 year old.she has a sensative head so the lumps buged her. i like it for me though. we had to go back to hair pin curls on her though. your way is so much easyer.

  • Can I do this on myslef? i cut my hair by myself and parts on my hair on uneven.

  • GENIUS!!! I Love this so much.

  • Beautiful copper hair ! :O

  • @biebergurl234 It would be more difficult to wrap up the hair, but it can be done. Good luck!

  • is there a way to do this that adds volume to the roots? for instance, can you start wrapping at the base and if so, how do you secure the ends? thanks!

  • @joannalcm Yes, you could definitely start wrapping at the base if you wanted to. When you get to the ends of her hair, just tie the nylons up the same way as shown in the video while keeping the ends tucked in.

  • oh just for the uploader your title says a nylon.

  • thank you so much!!! this is amazing!!!! now, i could have perfect curls everyday!!!!!

  • As a vintage stylist, I just want to thank you for this video. I have lots of these left over tights around my house and never thought about using them as my rag rollers. I would think the stretchiness and the texture would make them ideal! Granted, I won't be doing this on my daughter...thinking only of myself. haha. But my fellow vintage enthusiasts will be MORE than happy to use this tips as well...

  • omg i love this... i now do it everyday!

  • AMAZING!

  • Wat r nylons

  • @surferllama Pantyhose or knee-highs :P

  • nylons are the same thing as pantyhose right?

  • @bobobobobob93 Yes hehe :)

  • I LOVE THIS

  • @PinkChatterbug its not like they came up with this method. Rag curling has been around for decades.

  • @JustGlamorouslyAlive Very true. I think our Great Grandma's probably used this method to curl their hair. :) Still as cute today as it was then.

  • @PinkChatterbug yeah seriously

  • i tried it ,and my hair came out perfectly :D thanks!

  • Cute!

  • should you put a hair net or something similar over your head as you sleep to keep these from getting fuzzy?

  • Are nylons socks???

  • wow!! thật là đơn giản chưa từng thấy

  • ahhh...like Victorian times :)

  • Awesomee! & Omg Right Before She Uploaded This Vid. I Was Watching Vids. On How To Curl Hair With Sockss :o

  • Very smart idea!

  • rag curls!!!!!!

  • omg your daughters hair is so healthy and shiny love it take care

    !

  • how does her hair stay so perfect and doesnt get fly aways overnight?! her her is gorgeous!

  • Does it matter if the hair is like sagging at the top and fallin loose?

  • So it's kinda the same thing as rag curls right?

  • @TheEndeavoringFamily Yes, this is very similar to rag curls. It's the same technique. ;) We prefer the nylon material because it is stretchy and the knots seem to come out easier when we are taking them out. You can definitely acheive the same cute curls with rags though.

  • wait... so you basically can use anything right? doesnt have to specifically be socks tights or even a nylon material to achieve better results?

  • @IlyaFernandez

    I usually use paper :)

  • Bt my hair is not that straight like your daighter's! How can put the nylon on my hair overnight if i know that the next day my hair on top would look messy! what can I do?

  • THANKS SO MUCH !!! LOVE IT !!! This would be so easy to curl my 4 year olds hair, as she gets scared everytime I come near her with a iron as I burnt her ear one time LOL haha!

  • Wow!

  • how long does the curl take to form with this method? would 2-3 hours be enough time or does it have to be overnight?

  • @justjoyfuljen It would depend on the thickness of your hair and how wet your hair is when you roll it up. If you have fairly thin hair and only dampen it slightly, I would say 3 or so hours might work. Overnight would be best though for a curl that lasts longer.

  • Pretty amazing!

  • You're a great Mommy for doing this to your beautiful daughter! Merry (Christ)mas! God Loves You!

    Emily

  • You can also use cut up paper bags

  • nic

  • Woww this is awesome.

Thanks for all the help on the styles !

  • SECOND!!!!!!!

  • Lovely!
