reasently my 24 inch mtn bike's gear shifters and rear brake broke/bent and i got a stihl weed whacker not sure what amp it is but i think ill buld my own thanks the video was helpful.
@donyboy73 I don't know the size of the engine exactly but I can say I wouldn't mind more power. I think that gearing it lower would allow the motor to reach the rev range where it makes more power and actually allow it to go faster. It doesn't have the power to reach higher RPM's.
@TheAlexManVideos thanks for responding, I may make one this summer with a different engine. i made a chainsaw friction drive one last year but would prefer a chain. the friction works good but slips when wet
@TheAlexManVideos an expantion chamber would give it a ton more power. i mean a ton. two strokes dont run at all without em. this will let you turn more rpm and give you a little bit of a powerband
@fatbassethound Yeah, unfortunately no one makes a pipe for this motor, and I don't have the know-how to build an expansion chamber. I have my dirtbikes for when I want to actually move. This was just a fun project.
is it hard to keep the bike stable with the engine hanging of the side like that?
