  • Heyi got a video of me shooting my FNAR at 200 yds

  • great gun! constant and accurate. I've never had a jam with several hundred rounds fired, or ever heard of any one else having any jams or feed problems.

  • I love how the muzzle blast is just blowing out folks to either side.

  • What kind of ammo were you shooting?

  • 308 is the way to go.

  • :07 - :12 plink, plink, plink, plink...BOOOOM!

  • lefty lol

  • hey is that a place to shoot range?

  • What scope comes with it ?

  • @harisarif no scope comes with it.

  • Why are you wraping your trigger finger around the trigger just use the pad of your finger tip and you'll get better accuracy.

  • did you get the light or heavy? Cant decide which one is better.

  • @DownOnStover i have the heavy. i would just get the heavy if i were you. its only one pound of difference.

  • I'd get one of these if they used some widely available, reliable, and affordable .308 magazine. Until then, this is the equivalent of a more accurate Saiga rifle in .308 with its ridiculously expensive mags.

  • i love my .308 enfield but hate the steel butt plate... thinking about changing it somehow

  • It's nothing but a Browning BAR Sporting Rifle with a added detachable mag system, heavy barrel and black Rambo doo-dads, but the same weaknesses. It's a dressed up deer gun. Get an M1A.

  • @1911HeadBanger

well sort of but this gun is a 308 and a BAR shoots auto 30 06

  • @tltigaz1 The Browning BAR sporter is available in about 20 calibers. I'm not talking about the Military BAR Full Auto. The Browning BAR is available in .308 and this rifle, the FNAR, is a Browning BAR Sporter with some extra attachments and a different magazine system. This is not a military grade type rifle. It is a civilian sporter made to look "tactical" , and a 20 round mag added. I know what I'm talking about.

  • @1911HeadBanger Your right....but dont forget the match grade barrel and precision made parts....for the price...you really cant beat it...plus it keeps up with the m1a accuracy...

  • @Jeenyus1983

M1A accuracy whats that 3-4 MOA? If you want accuracy go with a DI AR like the LMT MWS .308

  • @dhena81 FN gaurantees 1 moa with factory loads on every FNAR/SXAR built. plus-factory ammo's horrible-handloaders are getting up to .5 or .6-Plus-the FNAR is a completely sealed piston system-all you need to clean is the barrel and the chamber-The system shouldnt need cleaning for many thousand rounds...however-it is a complex system compared to the DI system's on the AR platforms-I love the AR platforms-own a couple myself-but they do require more constant maintence...cleaning etc...

  • excellent rifle, I will take it hunting, but I hunt in open sagebrush land, I pack my ruger 338 and its not much diffrence. one important note, it dosent like short cartriges and fails to feed, if you reload seat your bullets out, I tride remington 150 grains and it hates them so I reseated the bullets so all of the canalour of the bullet shows and it cycles like a sewing machine now

  • I picked one of these up, and it was damn heavy. Heavier than the G3A3. I'm sure it makes an excellent competition rifle, but I'm not going to take this hunting.

  • @hkrivell 9 or 10 lbs is "damn heavy" for you for a .308 rifle? Compared to what, a carbine in .223? It might be one or two lbs more than an A-10, comparable to an FAL but it's reasonable compared many 'sniper' rifles in .308 or probably anything with a wooden stock. Maybe somebody should hit the gym a bit more... :/ I've got one of these, in heavy barrel no less, and it doesn't really seem that bad.

  • compared to my sks with strike force stock or Remington 700 VTR. Take it hunting with you if you like, but I'd rather take the 700 VTR.

  • that is one fugly rifle. I'm sure it is accurate and reliable, but for the kind of dough, i'd rather get the M1A

  • Duck! Hot brass shower ahead!

  • Gunsmith here in Dallas Texas recommended one to me over the M1A and AR10. Said he took it apart and its unlike anything he has ever seen. I like the pistol grip and how the quad railing system isn't too big or too heavy just placed where it needs to be. I also really like the Heavy barrel model seems real nice real durable. I was told people are starting to compete with it and winning. Trying to find more info on that on google.

  • @ParaBlood Your "Gunsmith" doesn't get out much. If he's ever torn down a Browning BAR hunting rifle, then he's seen this rifle. If he hasn't ever torn down and repaired a standard BAR for one of his hunting buddies, then he needs to go to a gunsmithing school or start in an apprenticeship program.

  • You know, I bet that this thing might be a fair suppressive fire medium cal auto rifle like the BAR. I mean, if they ever decided to make a model with the full auto capability.

  • I picked up the heavy barrel version for $1800. Performance more than makes up for being butt ugly. It lives up to it's "sub MOA out of the box" claim. I have a Trijicon AccuPoint 3-9X40 scope and it is ridiculously accurate. Me 'n' the Wife have a lot of fun shooting it. It is lighter than an M1A1 but not by much.

  • really cool to watch the brass fly

  • How is the accuracy of this thing? I'm thinking about buying one.

  • Accuracy is Very Good! Also, he has fired about 500 rounds without a jam! You will NOT be disappointed with this firearm.

  • @flash12me can you shoot 700 yards with it with my savage .308 make short work at long range hunting. if this gun can accurately hit at this range i think i found my next hunting rile.
