A few weeks ago at Pine Knot Raceway. A 2008 800 Outlander, with HMF pipe...... And a stock 2008 Renagade drag race 4 times. with the mods. on the outlander he kept winning. Bit not by much! Same mods. on Renagade, and thing would be differant. Both very fast! Cant decide which to buy! Look at some of my vids. Under " Pine Knot Raceway"

To help youu decide the outander is a work/utility ATV and the renegade is a sport/recreational ATV so the renegade comes with more speed oriented gear ratios making it faster.

Pretty sure they're the exact same bike as far as motor and transmition. I just bought a brand new outty a few weeks ago and it's fuckin hauls, never rode a rene before, and i'm sure it's a little faster just because of the weight, plus lighter tread tires won't slow it down, like the outty xts.

when i bought mine i asked the dealer, they told me they are both the same except the weight. making the rene a little faster

@24russum yeah, I ride with a guy who owns an outty 800, and don't get me wrong, I love my grizz 550, but when I punched it on his can am it was night and day man, those sumbitches just squat down and take the fuck off. He's thinking of upgrading to the Renegade, he's a 50-something year old man and can outride any of us younger guys who ride with them, lol, he makes his own hill climbs in places where the rest of us take one look and say "fuck that!"

Checkout MY outlander. It sure aint stock. Beats my new Renegade in a straight line. But after the renegade is run in and had the bolt-ons and dyno tune it'll beat the Outlander for sure! It handles WAY better than the Outlander, that's for real!! I've done over 100hrs on my Outty. Loved it. But my Renegade just blows me away in handling. Just outstanding!!!

the one on the right was an 800 renegade it's about 50 pounds lighter than the outlander, and it is one hell of a machine let me tell you
