Thanks for this video! But i still have a problem.. With the temperature..! >.< I used to do it right, for Antidote and Cure for Boils.. But now I just can't... :SS Is it.. First you click on the red, then wait for the light to become green, click on the middle bottom, and then what?! I'm a little bit confused. Sorry - it's just me...

@CedrellaBlack1 No worries. The moment the light turns green press the yellow. Now move your mouse over to the blue button in preparation to be ready to press it. Watch the space on the gauge that shows your allowed limits. If the green begins to get too close to the top, press the blue to temporarily turn off the flame to bring the temp down. Move your mouse over to the yellow in preparation to press the flame again to stop the flame from dipping too low. Repeat :)

@MandyC0123 A mouse click anywhere on the wand should trigger the animation of waving. Once it starts waving the clock stops ticking. :)

ok, I apologise, there is nothing wrong in the tutorial. I don't know why the flobberworm mucus behaved strangely the first time, it worked this time exactly as you had specified in the tutorial.

@sargamgupta It's not you. It behaves differently depending on the angle you hold your bottle. Holding it nearly vertical results in 1 bead = 1 blob. That's terribly risky though, so I don't show it. There is a lot of variance when gently tilting your bottle in. On occasion, if there is delay between your beads, 4 beads can = 1 blob. I couldn't find a rock solid conversion, and ended up using a general one with *approx* as a disclaimer. Eager to hear from anyone finding a reliable technique

thanks to these videos I can brew the potions successfully.I got two more cauldrons.Now,when a potion starts brewing and I go back into the page,in the potion I brewing puts Brew this potion or the cauldron I´m using appear like -Use this cauldron- although I'm really using it.

@olilop21 It's like if this potion weren't brewing at the moment. I click into it, and I have to start the same potion cause it isn't brewing. why? I can't brew since two days!

@olilop21 This is fairly common to have happen once or twice, and you have to start over and then it will complete the potion. For some this is a loop they have difficulty getting out of, but DO. For a rare few, they have been in this loop for a month. I have found it happens to me less when I check on my potions via the CAULDRONS link. I noticed a pattern of it happening more if I browsed to my potion via the potions book. Some have had success by blowing up the cauldron. Good luck :)

It all seems so easy D; i'm not awful at potions but i struggle with anything in bottles ( accidentally tipping things in the cauldron as i go to the mortar etc) I hope we get to brew the Polyjuice potion in Year 2 x)

wow how did you manage to come up with 7000 points? the dueling is undermaintenance. can i get a lot of points from brewing only?

can you use any cauldron for brewing any potion? or are there specific cauldrons for specific potions?

@mals30 You can use any cauldron for the potions we have right now. I'm assuming later chapters will have more complex potions that might need a specific cauldron. I find the most stable one to be the standard pewter. It heats in a more predictable way and is less expensive to replace, should there be a disaster.

@ShesAaRebel Last time I brewed it it was 9 House Points.  That may change. Everything is kinda fluid while they test and adjust. Your screen may still say 5 but your notification should have the proper, current amount stated.

@debbycus Glad to help! Blowing up your cauldron does not feel good. :) My points come from dueling, obsessive brewing and finding ways to brew more than one potion at a time, which have all been fixed, for the most part. Still fixing it in some countries. :) I expect my points will be wiped when we truly open in October though and we'll all start from 0. Which is cool.

Good work on earning so many points for us Gryffindors! :) I've been brewing as much as I can but Ravenclaw and Slytherin are so far ahead. How did you get so many points? Did you get them while Dueling was available or what?

@raeofsunshine17 Thank you!! Yes dueling was giving crazy amounts of points and within a day they took it down. For example, the dueling leader had so many points when I arrived, over 3,000, that I assumed pottermore had been open for a month and I was just getting my owl, discovering later I was actually one of the first in. So some of that and brewing more than one potion at a time, which they have fixed. Like I mentioned above, I expect we shall all go to 0 points for proper opening :)

I also didn't think about them wiping points, but it makes sense, and I would be surprised if they didn't, with all the glitches and loopholes and whatnot. I wonder if they'll have us all start from the beginning of book 1 again as well. Hmm. Thanks for the info and feedback!
