If you look at the sheet music, this is actually the marked tempo. It's not that we arent capable of playing faster, its that we want to play what is on the sheet.

@ItsNotJane Doesnt offend us, because most of us started learning music instruments in Grade9 because our elementary schools didnt offer any real music lessons. So I'm not surprised that younger musicians are better.
People who start young are always better than those who start older.
But that being said, I dont see how you think we sound "bad"? Where do you hear the mistake?

ya i have to agree we were really slow on this song. we were asking our conductor why we had to play this slow, but he just said it sounded better this way. soo... =S

when i seen this was a grade 11 and 12 band i thought, thank god..somebody with talent will play this song. I was utterly dissapointed. You guys sound good and complete, but it really is slow. Slower then the timeing marked on the conducters score for sure. we did this song with a combined band and we went twice this speed. Im sure you guys could have done it faster
