l miss my sister. To be the last person to live with her in our apt. in Chicago - simply means to me, that we helped each other through transitions of creativity. If we didn't create; we couldn't breath., You don't know who to trust. We trusted each other. She had no regrets. She often said Miss Chelsea, "I am worth so much more dead than alive." Living the last year of her life with her was a joy. She brought joy to me and I to her. Miss Chelsea chelsea0261@hotmail.com
When I return to this site I can't help but think about the Elgin Marbles and the torso's this artist sculpted and their similiarities. Glad to see that someone actually learned something from history.
Greer was a dear friend of mine. Seeing the video of this installation reminds me of her apartment on Briar Street. She did a great job reconstructing it.. I miss that smoky voice of hers. I can remember spending hours listening to her stories about the East Village and thinking she was making it all up....
My dear Greer....I hope you and Regan are storming Heaven with Candy and Jackie.....
That's good, afterall just because someone dies doesnt mean their work shouldnt be exhibited anymore, anywhere. I like socialrealism eventhough its hard to look at sometimes. Thanks Mattress Factory.
