  • I am singing this for a voice competetion, and my teacher told me that it was the hardest song that I had eer sung, but that it was her favorite of all of her voice student's song. I agree, it is hard, but beautiful.

  • This is really good. Very immaculate singing. I like it a lot.

  • For people who didn't see this show, the main part of the song is sung by "Little Edie" who has packed her suitcase and is about to leave Grey Gardens ....and her mother.

    The second voice is her mother, "Edie," who is an invalid and lying in bed. At the end, feeling trapped by circumstances, "Little Edie" decides not to leave. Heartbreaking...

  • This song was emotional enough, but Mary and her world-weary voice melding with Christine's voice is enough to melt the ice off of my heart. 

  • Beautiful Song! and Christine sings with such emotion its incredible.
