ill agree a lil with the kid arguin tupac isnt hte best rapper, defenitly one the most influental from his out of hte booth material, interviews, tv, things said and accomplished. thast more of why he stands out to me, more than lyrically. He rapped for 5 years and there is no guarantee that he would have continued to make good music after he died. Look at how many rappers had fame for some time and then fell off nasty. 50 Cent is a good example. No one even listens to his new stuff. Same could've happened with 2Pac. Idk why some people were saying BDK's verse was better than L's, L's was raw as fuck. Do you understand how hard it is to spit and entire verse with words that rhyme with each other? There aren't a lot of rappers that can do that and deliver it like L did, it's much easier to do what BDK did rather than what L did.

BDK was probably L's biggest influence and favorite rapper of all time (L said it himself), this is a random verse from L though. L's people put this album out a year after L died which is why some songs on the album don't really sound like L's on beat (A lot of the songs are just freestyles from L), I'm sure L would've gone all out if he knew his fav. rapper was going to spit on a track with him.
