@aviatortas The bbl is a FAKE short bbl for DISPLAY ONLY...as mentioned and posted throughout the vid! Check your Federal and Local State laws regarding registering a firearm as an SBR. It's not legal to do in every state! Again the one depicted here is w/16" bbl not a short bbl. Did you watch the whole video???
Nice score on the wooden stock. It gives it a great, different look. Come to think of it, with it on, it reminds me of the Thompson M1 Submachine Gun (square receiver, vertical magazine feed). Very nice piece, my friend. Congratulations on the purchase.
@sabr686 Thanks my friend! Yeah the wood stock gives it a whole different look...currently I installed the metal folder just to see if I could! LOL Took a bit of work to do so! I'll be putting the wood stock back on a bit later. Thanks for watching! =)
im in the mid of a build but need The NDS-1948W receivers going to build a full size pistol first so i can go to a carbine and to a pistol when i feel like it.atf loop hole
I got one of these last October and they are just sweet shooters. I shoot ragged holes at 50 yards with Tula ammo. Taking it to the range tomorrow . I waited over 30 years to get one and it's a dream come true.
Another thing to note. Is that you can not cock the uzi if the striker is down and the grip safety isn't depressed. I am waiting for your review this should be interesting. I have become familiar with my uzi, shot it and have broken it down but I really do not know much of the history other than it is orginally from Israel. I got a bunch lightly rusted 32rd mags on gunbroker for $7 a piece. I dura-baked them they look great now. I think I will leave mine stock
Nice Uzi, my friend. I know you will enjoy it. I'm looking forward to the shooting video. What a great way to start out the new year! Enjoy and have a great and Happy New Year!!!
Great vid. I've been looking at these and was kind of on the fence for a couple of the reasons you mentioned. I think this vid put me over the edge and I'll start moving toward getting one. Thanks for sharing!
another thing to mention with the fake can suppressor it acts as a heat sink for the barrel and with the low pressure round of the 9mm compared to most assault rifle ammo. The UZI is very hard to over heat even with sustained fire. Not a huge fan of not having any bolt hold open device what so ever but I love my uzi. Also I didn't have to adjust my sights they were on from the factory. Thanks for the video Ruger six
I clocked 115 grain Winchester white box at 1430 FPS advertised velocity 1190 FPS. The 16 inch barrel makes a noticeable jump in velocity. Also I had to torque the extractor about 10-15% clockwise when facing down the sights. The extractor had no tension and the rounds were not ejecting, after that fix it ran great. I also very heavily suggest polishing the feed ramp and the face and back of the extractor claw. I threw a fake can suppressor on mine. It is very accurate.
@rugersix No I have been to busy. I have aquired a few new toys though and reviews are a must. I think I will probably wait till I get a better camera.

I have shot 3 full auto firearms in all my 17 years of life (Full size IMI uzi, FN p90, and 1927a1 Thompson submachine gun) and I would have to say it was my favorite one. After 60+ years of abuse it didn't jam once with the 600 rounds I put through it. The Thompson was a reproduction made in the 60s and had about the same amount of abuse and it jammed like 15 times out of the 400 rounds I put through it. The p90 was fun but the ammo went too fast so I couldn't see myself owning one.
@TheAk47Enthusiast Awesome! I shot a Tommy down in OR that was my first full-auto experience the other was with the UZI in Israel. =) Thanks for watching!
Oh cool my friend I know you been wanting one for some time. Looking forward to seeing more of it. I like the folding stock much better than the wood one. Now we need to talk about spilling the coffee not good. :) take care and Happy New year to you and your family.
@henrycems I really hope it was worth the bucks Alfred??? =) I guess I will find out...btw I just installed the metal folder about an hour ago! That was fun!!!! LOL =) Happy New Year!!!
Nice new toy. For shooting comfort the wood stock beats the heck out of the folder. We used to get to fire a proper full auto Uzi years ago, it belonged to a local policeman. A fun gun to shoot, his had the wood stock, your video makes me want to rewind time 25 years so I could do that again!
@314299 I like the wooden stock myself and plan to get it converted to a permanent fix for legal purposes...the folder is now on the gun! Oh sounds like fun sure enjoyed shooting these for the first time in Israel! =)
@f8talh8red It was there I showed it...the bbl on the gun was a fake display barrel as mentioned in the vid. Also, show me where it says a SBR is not legal in the state of WA.. if you have filed the proper forms with thee ATF and paid for the tax stamp???
@f8talh8red Well I most likely will not be doing that anyway as mentioned in the vid I don't like the long barrel on these, but can live with it! Thanks for your input.
How do you have the short barrel on there? Did you pay the SBR tax? Just curious cause I want one!!
