Ha ha I posted that a year ago, and to my credit just before that shows massive 17 episode run! Only the pilot episode aired in Australia because once again American studios take a great localised comedy and dumb it down and rape it of all its originality for a bland American sense of humor.

I just found it amusing that a post that I made a year ago has gotten any attention now. You do seem to be rather angered by me and to be honest, I don't really get it. An off the cuff remark about a moronic actress seems pretty small. I haven't changed my opinion re: this remake. So what? U are pissed off 'cause I have the tenacity to have an opinion. i love molly shannon and i watched a clip of the show but it was the ausy accent that made it so funny!! i cnt bring mysel to watch the new kath and kim :( it couldbe good but the original was unique

I guarrantee that the US version will either do one of the 2 things if not both, flop in OZ because people hate the fact that Aussie comedy has been taken over to the US and they arent funny most times, or it'll flop in the US because Americans are stupid and ignorant and wont understand the comedy of the show, or they'll love the show and claim it was their show all along, either way Americans are stupid and the rest of the world more often than not hates them

wow u really hate us? I sometimes hate us too and I am an american. I LOVE the aussie Kath and Kim it is brilliant! The american one is horror! Our country is very diverse and our television tends to aim towards the middle. I am an east coast (boston/newyrok) and we are not like most americans.
