I was stoopid and went out yesterday in the car - turned around 'right quick' cuz bridges were 1/2 inch away from breeching. Nasty, and stoopid. but got great pictures. Horrific, amazing, and scary. National Guard evacuating people less than 2 miles away. really scary. Living half way up a 'KNOB'....priceless
@99records I had not looked at any of these comments until today. She said idiot because the guy was causing a traffic jam not because he was out in the weather. Many of the people out during this were already out when the weather got bad and were just trying to get home... so yeah... he's still the idiot... but thanks for the comments... Snarky McSnarkerson.
@stymye - well, when we left the house it was just raining some on Saturday morning and there was no flooding. When we got to our car and tried to drive home this is what we encountered.
"this is a so funny day!"

@shrimpsandwhich

Love how they say another driver is an idiot.
Hello!!! You're also out driving in the storm when you should be at home.
And with kids in your car.
So who's the idiot now?

I'm from Houston TX myself, this kind of stuff happened more often due to Houston being flat land. Until now, I did not know it could happen here.
