  • mayor is a fucking dumbass

  • bizarre stupid stupid girls if child protective services were to bring this to the courts attention perhaps the girls parental rights could be termanated and the babies raised by adults?? given that is a situation out of the ordinary an all

  • Yay! What we need in this world is a bunch of wild teens from the Maury Povich show.

  • i dont knw y people are worried about if the pact was made or not i THINK that they should be worried about the babies and if the teens are able to take care of them or not just my thoughts

  • Mayor Kirk sux!

  • the only reason why their future is thrown away is that today's educational fairness discriminates against marriage and moms. Why can't we figure out ways to accommodate by offering an equal opportunity for them instead of shutting them out. They should be offered the same amount of chances and support that other individuals receive.

  • my taxes should not go toward supporting stupid people

  • why don't we confront the issues that come with this like how are these girls going to continue their education if they want to and maybe we should make education more mommy friendly. You can't force them all to have abortions

  • Regarding your comments about the pregnant girls in Gloucester High: high schools should not be made more "mommy-friendly" because high schoolers shouldn't be moms. If you can't understand this simple concept then I'm afraid no one can help you.

  • But the real news here is that the national media created a big huge stinky story out of something that never happened. The only evidence that this "pregnancy pact" ever existed was the principle saying it existed, and even he didn't claim to know the girls himself. It was always "somebody told me..."

  • How many students are in the school ?

To exaggerate : If there's 10,000 then I say no pact.

But if it's more like 100 students they def had a pact.

  • What an airhead. Blaming NCLB which a certain liberal democrat from her state helped get passed. This kind of stupidity should be a capital offense

  • O WHAT IF THEY WANT TO MAKE A PACT LOL

BEFORE YOU KNOW IT... THIS ADMINISTRATION and their SENSATIONALIST MINIONS will MAKE TERRORISTS out of PREGNANT WOMEN TO BE!

  • The Mayor blames this on George Bush and No Child left behind? The Mayor just out the "D" in Dumb **nt.

  • I think the girls just PUNKED you all.

  • Be proud of your children the gov has taught them morals rather than parents. Give your children to the media and let the starlets teach morals.

  • More media out of control and making a story where none exists. Can't believe anything they tell us. Probably find the truth on and independ site. Aren't we glad the gov teaches morals rather than parents? Students can't add, read or balance a checkbook but they are taught how to have sex, with whom, and try alternative sex partners before u decide you r straight. Be proud parents!! You allowed the gov to take over raising children.

  • Not sure how valid your criticisms are, though the parents have indeed fallen short their responsibilities. This community practices Bush's failed Abstinence Only policy. They most certainly are not teaching the kids about "alternative sex partners" or how to protect themselves from pregnancy or STDs. They aren't teaching the ramifications of sexual activity, but are instead resorting to a head in the sand mentality of "Just Say No," much as the Mayor denying the proported pregnancy pact.

  • I live where the school passes out condoms. Gov schools now decide morals and sexual behaviors that are O.K. Americans have given their children to the gov. Brigham v. State of Vermont states children belong to the state! We have 60 days for child sex perverts. No Grand Juries here either.

  • I would say "too bad nobody passed out condoms to these girls," except that we now know that the "pregnancy pact" probably didn't happen. The principle either made it up or was dumb enough to believe an unsubstantiated rumor.

  • Amazing, isn't it, what so many people assume is being taught in sex ed, when in fact what's being taught is DON'T!

Just a thought: if seventeen high school girls have sex with each other, how many of them get pregnant? Maybe "alternative sex partners" isn't such a bad idea.
