I've wanted to watch the original UK version. I've heard only good things about it and i love ricky gervais. But I do have my doubts as to wether its funnier than the US version.
I the uk version worth watching???

It's a very different comedy and it's more serious than the US version and makes you cringe more.
The Christmas Special though is the icing on the cake and makes you love The Office because it gives you what you want out of the characters.

Yes most definitely. You need to like the British humor though- very subtle and dry. I am an American and love it maybe even more so than the US version
