  • Just seein Waylon on preform this song on the DVD gave me chills seeing it with the pics brought it to life, last Dec. I use the words in another way and used this song to enter the ring for an MMA fight, playin a little Waylon brought the crowd to life and gave the song yet another special meaning to me. I was playedat the historic Ryman Auditorium in Jan. of 2000

  • ok thanks.

  • which album was this concert from?

  • where did you get this live version? is this a 90's live show? do you have more of this live show?or is this extract from The lastest live record?

  • Great song ...love the slide show

  • That was GREAT!!! Thanks!

  • the greatest ever...

  • Good Lord.

  • if i cant go down rocking, i cant go down at all,, i like this,, more and more i think, if he was born twent years later, he would have made music like stevie ray vaughn,, sure waylon was an outlaw of the "earlie days", making music with buddy holly showed, that already back in the 50 ths, he was creating new sounds, stevie ray was doing the same 20 years later,, the spirit i think, remains the same,,, just happend at diffrent times,, both were involved with "not" boarding a plane though, ???

  • no one better then waylon's country

  • coolsong

  • awesome! Long live waylon

  • Forgot to mention in my original post - loved the video. The first picture, of waylon as a child takes your breath away, and the last one..... Wow. and of course the ones in between, are all so fitting. I think you hear the song just the way I do.

  • Have to say that I don't agree. The way I hear it - this is a song sung by a man who knows he's close to the end of his life. And he can sigh about it, smile about it, and give himself and the audience a wink about it.

  • Excellent video!wtg
