@CoOkiezzify I just beat him yesterday, try using ioprey armor to stop poison, and bring pitfall tools and flash bombs. They helped me anyways.

Also I only hit him with one strike at a time, sometimes two. Takes awhile but its safer

for me rathalos keeps on glitching so my weapon just goes through him and it doesnt hit him i even use my full rathalos armor from the fisrt egg quest, which for some reason i can only hit him it that quest, and i even used my golem blade and i did 0 damage, help!!!!!

@TheXBladeist I just killed my first Rathalos, your right its freaking HARD man! But I was finally able to do it with (Besides the normal supplies) the bone armor set plus a Kut-ku tasset and battle helmet. My weapon of choice ended up being Deathprize, I needed its speed, and its effects to win. Other than that just read up on vulnerabilities (As you already have.) and make sure your familiar with WHEN TO ATTACK! Like when its blasting with a fireball!

when i unlocked the quest level 5 i did the capture quest the second i finished that quest i got the rathalos helm ahhh good times.

wow i just got unite my first MH game (its awesome by the way im at five star :) ) I never knew what the original games looked like i mean here you need 3 stars to slay velociprey and by that time i was fighting the rathalos. I remember first time Ifought and how I shitted my pants when he charged and i stood there like a noob getting killed. And how i actually beat it when i use bow. good times good times. Oh and grats at beating him hes a pain i prefer rathian though.

thisis just a tip for bowgun user if u want to fight the rathlos with a bowgunfightit in area 4,3,2,6 each one has a ledge where u can shoot from expect 3 where u can just keep shooting from the middle wihle the rathlos keep rushing back and forth

maybe u were using great sword? deathprize is the best way to kill rathalos..but kinda hard to find materials..
