Tesla is on a better track if they get their sedan out, but what is really needed are vehicles like pick-up trucks and SUVs as well. How often do you drive at 125 mph? Not often. But how often do you floor it at the green light? Very often. Streetcars doesnt have much use for sick top speeds, it needs handling and acceleration.
My point is that, sure, petrol sports cars go above 120 mph, but only a select few can match 0-60 in 3,7. So what do you want?

No your wrong you get the same torque from rpm>0. Your horsepower increases as your rpms increase it's just a linear increase as opposed to the upside down parabola of the gasoline engine.

Actually the Dodge Circuit EV Electric is just a version of the Lotus Elise-Tesla Electric Car...
Better not mention of its price...the 200 miles is more like 85 and 0-60mph under 5 seconds (the tesla under 4 seconds)
