  • 1. Brad Nowell

    2. Greg Graffin

    3. JImi Hendrex

    4. Maynard James Keenan

    5. John Lennon

If you dont one of these look him up... you won't be sorry

  • @HaydenBThrobbingG Jim morrison and Kurt Cobain

  • I love this video

  • Brad Nowell and Kurt Cobain in my opinion were the most talented musicians of the 90's. That's saying a lot because the 90's had A LOT of amazing musicians.

  • @Butown You are right my friend!

  • that bass line got meeee like auugggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • FOOOOOOOOOOOODA!

  • please don't compare ROBERT MARLEY with this guy

  • @droja19 Im sorry...but i think if anybody tried to compare Bradley to Marley...i wouldnt say all the way but it comes close.... Bradley earned it...hes a musical genius, who mixed a shit load of stylees/genres together and is a huge influence on many artist and average joe people still at 15 years later. so please don't refer to him as "this guy"

  • @FrankieGgoes yeah men, thats very true...im a huge fan of sublime and i respect their music, and you said it right "this guy" is not the proper way to recognise a great artist like bradley, but, all im saying is that bradley is an employer of this great reggae music factory and robert is the boss haha yeea

  • Fuck ya sublime, so good to see this video, and also the fact that there's 0 hates. RIP Bradley <3

  • Early showing of Sublime's talent. Their music is the best I've ever heard. Especially their less mainstream stuff, mostly bootlegs and forbidden tapes.

  • one of the very few times ive seen brad with a shirt on

  • I saw sublime play in a backyard in Long Beach a few times when I was about 14. Bradley's voice was just ridiculous, still can't believe that sound and poetry came out of this normal looking guy.

I remember joint's of mexicali rolled in toilet paper squares for $1...

they pulled together all types of punks, reggae, dead heads, skaters, white, black, whatever... in Long Beach, most of us didn't know we weren't supposed to get along.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAD!!! Smokin up for you man!

  • Sux so bad this guy isn't around anymore. He is a legend like Bob Marley. He would be soo happy to see how everyone adores his music. I don't know anyone that doesn't know of this band. I have been listening to this dude since the 9th grade. I am 31 yrs old and still listen to their music. I even go and watch Badfish play (The only tribute band that I know of that makes a living playing someone else's music.) Sublime-yup! They're legends. Just like Bob! Notice 0 dislikes, and over 34k views.

  • This is the Second Hand Smoke version of Dont Push...gotta love from 3:00 to the end. Brad was a great singer.

  • I love it when Brad goes, "Bo Bo Bo!!" Shit is classic

  • This was a great performance, it kind of reminds me of the Don't Push on SHS.

  • god damn this shit grooves.. even how young they all are.. is crack cocaine better than sensi?? lol'

    fuck no

  • Bud is playing traditional grip - rad!

  • how is this great bass sound achieved? can anybody tell me?

  • the greatest.

  • that bass son!

  • where can i get the sublime shirt the doods wearin at 1:43

  • @ryansondrugs

All the shirts they wore were made by them i believe. just for friends. they dont exist anymore.

  • dude if someone knows where to get one of those sublime shirts their wearing, message me!

  • @GrantHDee im tryin to find them too.. so ill

  • @ryansondrugs im pretty sure at this point in sublimes career those shirts were self made and are not in production :( it suckks....

  • @sublimedubstyle yeah, i figured so, i'm about to make my own, it's so simple and sublime, i fucking love it!

  • @GrantHDee hahahah very nice very nice

  • awesome clip ... haven't seen that song before at Georgie's Party, only ever seen the Ebin clip from Georgie's!!

  • I love these chill ass vids

  • ooh man that blunt was runnin

  • @FadingFromReality it was a joint

  • i want that fucking shirt, i'd kill for that

  • best band of all time.

  • Sick as bass line...Sublime was rocking that skunk sound back in 90!!! Where were some of you guys at back then>?

  • in my dad's ballsack

  • thats so damn cool.

  • this is awesome

  • Nice!!!

    Rare footage

  • that would've been awesome to chill there drink some beer smoke some weed and take in the sound of sublime

  • @djkells3 I agree with the list accept that I would swap Maynard James Keenan for Kurt Cobain. Only for the fact Kurt literally was the biggest impact on changing the genre of music, second to the beatles of course. Tom petty and many artist agree that Nirvana was the biggest thing since the beatles. So in short, to leave kurt cobain out of the list you created seems like a car missing the engine.

  • damn that bass line is better than the recorded one for this song

  • @wompasdub 100% agree the bass line kicks ass on this recording

  • would have been fucking awesome to be there then

  • PHATTTTT JOINT OMFGGGGGGGG!

  • man eric put on some weight over those last few years then

  • Brad, Erick, and I think that drummers name is kelly vargas .

  • @BlackHeartModer Not sure but it seems liek Buds on the drums there.

  • @Badfish93 yea i think so too... the snare/cymbal hit simultaneously at 1:40 reminds me of bud

  • @Gibnah97 Yeah ha, that seems like Bud to me.

  • @Badfish93 hahahaha or at 2:56 how brad says "come in bud"

  • i wonder if my uncle was at this party hes an lbc old school he supposedly went to high school with bradley and used to go to nirvana and sublime shows, but my uncle also smokes more weed and cracks more brews than anyone i know in the lbc too lol.

  • DUDE, that funky bassline is the SHIT!

  • Epic! RIP Bradley

    HappÝ 420

  • Laughter it's free,anytime just call me!

  • thats not eric wilson right?

  • YES... thats the original bunch

  • @ORCA1213 Jsut a very skinny version of Eric, it's him.

  • @ORCA1213 Yes it is.

  • they all look pretty thin here

  • this is insane.

    love it.

  • damn!

there will never be another band like Sublime..

R.I.P. Bradley..ur music lives on homie.

  • I love watching Bud and Eric now that i have watch Brad for like 5 years ... best 3 piece band ever!!

  • @RITK311 they are all such great musicians

  • wow this video is awesome early sublime and bradley nowell before heroin great video

  • he has always done H

  • wrong

  • you know nothing. you think people just start slamming? he went from smoking it to snorting it to slamming it in a span of SEVERAL years. FACT

  • @rompmyg

    Not true.

He is quoted that he always turned it down because it scared him.

But when they made it big, he thought it needed it like the other DJs to be creative.

  • he liked H more than his kid, he took too much and stoped breathing. girls really do go crazy brad!

  • who are you to even say that? He liked H more than he liked his kid? Wow

first off, he was addicted. do you know what an addiction is? He wanted nothing more than to have a wife and family. He was clean and sober when he died. He relapsed.

  • brad wrote this man. it's all his. bob marley didn't write this and he didn't write smoke two joins

  • yeah but i dont think they ever had official t-shirts until the self-titled came out. They probably just made these in their homes. either way. 80's or early 90's. Awesome vintage shirt

  • your right bob marley didnt.... but the toyes originally wrote the song.... just look it up dude... and brad even says on the thankx dub "that song smoke two joints was done by the toyes"

  • i forgot this was dont push haha im baked my bad.....

  • i dont think thats Brad who says that..

  • it is. its the last song on 40 0z to freedom. its called thanx dub and he basically thanks everyone for helping make the cd possible

  • Comment removed

  • @majorager you're right and wrong. The Toyes wrote the Intro to Sublime's Smoke Two Joints. The rest of the song is just Sublime putting it down.

  • @tonystark91605 no way, man! read the album jacket, or just search the toyes on youtube and smoke two joint will probably be the first thing that comes up

  • @tonystark91605 No. The 19-second intro is from the film Valley of the Dolls. The Toyes wrote the whole song.

@drunkenstick It was written by The Toyes.

Man, do some fucking research guys.

  • @majorager actualy bob wrote smoke 2 joints

  • i want Bud's shirt. Sick ass 80's Sublime tee

  • I wouldn't say it's an 80's tee. Sublime was very low profile in the late 80's and didn't release their first full album until '92.

  • @Synx67

It's an 80s T-shirt, those are home made.

    For friends.

  • this is a bob marley song originally

  • haha! Opie was gettin down..

  • phenomenal how mature his voice was at that time!!

  • stolen from an africa land,

    chased out with a knife

    with a face like

    bob marley

    and a mouth like a motor-bike

oh well the bars are always open,

and the time is always right

and if god's good word goes unspoken

    the music goes all night

    RIP BRADLY AND SUBLIME

  • HOLLY SHIT BRAD HAD A SHIRT ON!!! lol

  • awesome!!! one of my favorites {(btw this is on the everything under the sun dvd and the full date was 4/20/90 lol prolly why that chicks got sucha fat joint :)}

  • this is amazing!

  • The lyrics of this song prove that he didnt need heroin to be creative, or whatever his excuse was. These are like some of the best lyrics hes done...

  • sadly that's so true :(. I wish one of his good friends could of told him that....

  • @Fenderkicksass

    They all tried. :[

His mom kicked him in the balls to keep him from going out to by heroin one time.

    And he still went!

  • @LolzPremiumRoast it was his step mom his real parents divorced i think thats one excusse he used to tweak he shouldve stuck to strictly weed then he would still be here destroying his concerts

  • Anyone who has ever ben addicted to opiates know it takes a HELL of ALOT more than a kick or two in the balls to deter you at all from your mission. Anything short of incarceration won't do much. Sad, but usually true. RIP BRad

  • very nice! damn there were like 3 of maybe 4 parts of future sublime songs in this version of don't push.. sweet

  • i want the guys shirt at 0:22

  • where can i get it

  • LBC

  • damn california culture is the best . its like no other!!

  • @tsunamikiller87 love living here

  • What is "bukake on me"?

  • @AdPlannerMan it means to be given the greatest medal of honor in Japan for heroic actions, but it's on the down low. If you ever visit Japan you should yell in the streets, "Bukake on me!" It's kinda like a secret society and for knowing of it you get accepted to it.

  • I miss Brad, he made my younger years worth living

  • HAHA Old School SOCAL party people, love it!

  • i love it

  • LOL 80s PEOPLE

  • I wish I was there.
