The basic plot and characters sound kind of like the Hunger Games. A lot like the Hunger Games actually. Did you find that it was similar as you read it? or is it really more different than it seems.

@DaisytheDancer The society is very similar, especially in the way it was controlled. But the story is different than the Hunger Games.

This certainly sounds interesting, although distopian novels tend to depress the heck out of me. But I really like Snyder's writing in her Study series, and I've been hearing such positive things on this one, so I reckon I will give it a go in the future.
