Giving you the present truth for our time. Please watch the video. It will inform you what is going to happen very soon and when it does you will believe. John 14:29.
I heard this on a tape (long ago) by a David Allen out of Winston Salem NC I beleive and it was AWESOME... Love this song used to lead it in our choir.. To God be all the glory
ACtually the song ahould end by sayin: but thats not how the story ends three days later he rose again, thats love, thats love. But other than that, you guys had real pretty voices!!
@rfrf101 That's how he ( Willie Blount) sings the song. He was in several choirs at my old Church Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, in Ft. Washington, MD, at the time of this recording.

fred did make a nice one but to say it is the real thing might be slightly presumptuous. Keith Pringle made his version of the "real thing" back in the early 80s; and this version (written by Winston Salem NC's David Allen in the mid 80s) is probably the most sung rendition of this title.
I love this version. I have been looking for one however, with the hand motions. They are powerful. I have never seen anyone do it except my mom so she may have made them up.... Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get the sheet music for this song. Anything or any info would help, like who composed it, originally performed it, or anything , but mainly about the sheet music. Thank you.
I have too! We are in the season right now as we approach the sacrifice God made with his only Son. And the Son layed down his life for us. How can we repay?...
I remember hearing this song when I was a wee lad in the ole country side. It touched my heart so many years ago, and I would try my hardest to remember the words for 20 odd years. Thank you for posting this song; I never knew the title or choir that sang it. BLESS you minjcj. God really bless you.
