im a 17yrold african american girl from america, and i personally wasnt offended by this video, i think it could be taken as racist to some because in the past white people would paint their faces black just to offend black people. times have changed and the new generation is a lot more flexible when it comes to comedy for example the shows like Family Guy and South Park have race jokes on nearly every episode,but people loosened up. however those who are trying to be racist, suck. :)

@Bbrielle629 Yeah, but the difference there is that Family Guy and South Park are satirical when they explore racism, whereas an act like the Jackson Jive are six untalented clowns who though the could do a blackface minstrel act without any repercussions.

What is up with the number of black men in prison and whites in rehab? How about white felons getting jobs quicker than black college graduates? What about gentrification? What about health care disparities? Race that gets killed with 10- 81 bullets by cops? You accepting denigration makes you blind.

@ddsharper All im saying is there is a time to get angry and be really offended, i wont waste my time being angry about this, yes it was stupid, and yes im sure they all regret it. It's kind of silly for you to think that just because im not offended by this joke that i dont care about other serious problem going on with my race. i care very much actually. i just choose my battles.
