It was a fantastic performance, especially considering Sensitive Prince ran hard the whole way and Cauthen had to work incredibly hard to win this race -- his first since winning the 1978 Belmont, which I consider to be the greatest race ever.

What an amazing rally by Affirmed, definitely an underrated performance.
Different announcer here, sounds good, but I'd prefer Chic.
I was at the 22-0 game at the bottom.

I agree with you! My opinion of Affirmed changed a lot after I saw this footage. What a champion he is! I loved watching his stride quicken as he fought his heart out to win. Many horses would have given up, but not Affirmed! :D
In the future, could you please refrain from using the word "Holy" with swear words, or any swear words at all, please. I just don't want to have that kind of language on my channel.

I'm not sure whose voice that is. IMO, it sounds like it was a voiceover done in a studio. I just wish they had used the track call of Chic Anderson, Marshall Cassidy (I'm sure he subbed for him at times back then), or whoever was at the mike that day, if the call was available, of course. It would have better to hear that, but this was interesting nonetheless.
