If the ark is still on the mountain, it won't be found unless it is meant to be found. Poeple would rip it apart for keep-sakes. Artificial borders mean nothing to the existence or none existence of the ark. What matters is the serious search for it. Would love to go there, but not on one of these tourist expeditions.
