Few comments.

1) I'm guessing that that's not a 8.5 pound rifle, due to the fact that you're handling it so easily

2) If it IS, lighter then 8.5, you wouldn't have missed your grips, and it wouldn't have had hit you as hard.

3) When spinning, you should watch your rifle angle. Make sure it's either parallel to the ground, or perpendicular. It shows discipline, and control of the rifle.

4) Make sure that when you catch it from the back drop, that it lands the way you want it to land, correctly
