a private community away from the general public.
Coney Island should be itself and taken care of, a unique place for everyone and not become another playground for the super wealthy people like Manhattan is.
i personally think coney island and new york city, and brooklyn should really stand up to thor equities... but.. theyve started to build already... theyve taken down the gokarts...one nght, you'll see astroland, the beaches and cyclone, the basebeall field, the aquarium, the nathans hotdogs... next morning... condos... and everythings gone... its gonna be really sad to me, because i grew up right near coney island
Shit, I really hope the neighborhood organizations, Coney Island U.S.A. etc will have some impact on this, If there was ever an argument against NYC gentrification
