It began with the forging of unified China by the First Emperor for into this new realm he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life: One China to rule them all, one China to find them, one China to bring them all and in the darkness bind them!
QUOTE - 8 February 2007, Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs: “United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2758 of 25 October 1971 recognised the Government of the People’s Republic of China as the sole representative of China. Although Taiwan continues to exercise autonomy and to term itself ''‘The Republic of China’'', this is not recognised in international law. Taiwan’s official status is that of a Province of China.” This is not spam?

a model is prabably going to be accepted on both side if china is going to be the leading super power in the near future is that, 1 china, mainland remains its current system, taiwan remains its current system. chinese national congress include taiwan critics as observation or opposition opinions(to open up and give taiwan ruling party some degree of political freedom) but remain 1 party rule, taiwan allows mainland china military activities in taiwan controlled water(it will be stupid not to).
The world consensual view is recognition of mainland China
