  • Lost my virginity to Tripomatic Fairytales 2001

  • Back in '92 this was thé song to listen too. Makes me happy and sad at the same, because i now release i'm 20 years older and wish i've done some things different.

  • I simply cannot believe this song is already 20 years old ..

  • What a sound. Love it!

  • Recommend if this track made you sigh with nostalgia.

  • Brilliant!

  • Beautiful.

    This is real trance.

  • nice and chillinn ibiza house....

  • Buzzin tune this. I was in 4th year at school when this beaut came out

  • Hold me love me!

  • Is this the original version? I dont't remember the female voice "love me, hold me" ..?

    Thanks for sharing anyway!

  • @Diosamante Right now I'm listening to a compilation called 'Trance Nation Anthems', featuring this track in, as far as the tracklist tells me, its original form, and it includes the "hold me, love me" part.

  • @marksoutof10 thanks for the info ;)

  • Yeah, the good old times !! A club classic!

  • driving to sandbach services after shelleys with this thumping out of the hi fi speakers in my boot, memories oh so fresh you can smell the poppers

  • @cooky3004 Nice one

  • I spent a weekend in Austria at a 3 day DJ festival with Mark just before he died. We partied like our lives depended on it and I know he is racking up the lines for me ! See you on cloud nine Mark.

  • an old school clasic, always gives the end of a night a real spin.

  • one of my early vinyl purchases will always love this track!

  • Not many tracks you can be in awe of from start to finish but this IS one of them, thx for the quality upload and 6.19mins of memory flashback

  • Q U A L I T Y...

  • i first heard this in London on a black and white at the hypodrome, everyone in the club on the same level getting drawn into the DJs set, fantastic days/nights, the weekend finished Suday lunchtime

  • heard that song in 92 at ibiza and it,s still my favourite trance track

  • The thing about Trance is that is is free. It has no limits. It's here to stay and will be here for a long time.

  • omg omg omg - fantasttttttttic.

  • Flashbck.

  • This way better than the crappy version with the vocal. Those were the days!!

  • I'm amazed that trance is still going strong 20 years on. I've always loved it but seriously at the time I thought 5 years max then all the creative ideas would be gone, and then rock would probably re-invent itself again, somehow. Wrong on both guesses :)

  • @sunsurfandspf16 Even though you say this, I still think that trance in its purest form is dead. It really has evolved since its beginnings. Once it went mainstream in Europe, a lot of the genre was transferred over to mix with pop music. With that being said, though, there is still plenty of good stuff being produced today; you just have to dig for it :)

  • Oi I agree with you, about the tunes between 1988-93 but you are wrong because we have Floyd to thank.

  • Great

  • massive rush ...proper goosebump fest

  • Still gives this 38 year old goose bumps just like it did back in '92 :)) Sigh!!!!

  • @4thaluvofdabeat *so youre living in 2020 ? ;)

  • @4thaluvofdabeat same here !

  • @4thaluvofdabeat No worries, you're not alone beeing 38 and feel like that. !! Don't give up enjoying it, it keeps you young forever ! . And we haven't aged 16 years. We just got 16 years more experience ! :P

  • @4thaluvofdabeat Great 2hear Im not the only one with goose bumps and Im a 50 yr old now! Sigh!!! : )

A;; time classic all time,,,

  • It starts off so beautiful, wow, what a song, and Im half the age of most of the other people watching this

  • Dam still gives me chills..Massive track back and in the day..

  • Why do I have to be born in 96? Why God?

  • Dont complain . being old is shit. i was born `81

  • @cymrutube3 I know what you mean; born in '77 here and remember when this was new. Still aren't too many songs made today that can hold a candle to songs like this, though.

  • The 3 that disliked this video meant dis i like

  • Das ist geil!

  • good times

  • Everlasting!

  • Stellar

  • THIS SONG IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN WEED..

  • Ravin' in muddy fields @ 5am, sun rising, memories of '93 and the spirit of the 90s...will never be bettered :)

  • Love it!!! xx

  • great classic track...very old sckool...ty!!!

  • Legendary

  • the best thing about this track was you could hear it in every club, house, techno nights all loved it and still do.

  • c'mon people, there is plenty good dance music out there today as well. If you don't think so you simply just haven't found it.. There's more than what you hear from the clubs and on the radio

  • @Dereck89 There is indeed but it's a bit inferior - sorry. One generation always thinks their music is better than another's - you should hear what my 13 year old son has to say about rave music.

  • @Dereck89 absolutely. couldn't say it better myself. props to the past and all that but get yourself down fabric on a saturday night and tell me if you still think today's dance music is rubbish :)

  • jam and spoon simply where amazing, todays music is just a very bad joke in an even worse nightmare compared to those tracks

  • What can we say GREAT TUUUUNNNEEE : ))

  • guauuuuuuuuuu good sound

  • Man I wish I was there 88-94... Def. the best years of EDM, pure gold. :)

    Sadly I was born in 92..... :/

  • Quality track. Defines nostalgia. thumbs up =)

  • Simply epic in all ways my fav Trance track no doubt!!!

  • 1992, what a year for house music!!

  • Perfect basic of trance, amazing

  • Dam, what memories..

  • A fucking classic.

  • This song makes me think of Estella Warren for some unknown reason

  • I was born at the highpoint of house and trance. Must be why they are my two favourite genres today.

  • i only found this wee tune going threw gatecrashers album

    brillant tune!

got ibiza alll over it lol

  • WHAT ThAT DEWEY DEWEY DEWEY. What song is that? SOMEONE HLEP ME THE F OUT.

  • Schon so alt und fast vergessen gehabt, richtig geiles Ding um sich aufbauend dahin zu träumen.

  • the remix is propa as well

  • My copy is from the "Trip O matic Fairytale" album.

Anyway, this is still on of my favorites and even appeared in a set that i played in 2008

  • this soung takes me back to when i was on the rave and house scene in DC....those were the days......WOW i love this track!

  • R.i.p Marc Spoon!

  • No contest. This is one of the tunes that started it all. So good that Pete Tong (despite his tendency towards vocal house and American influenced disco shiiiiit) had to have it as one of his tunes of the year. Absolute consummate tech / progressive beautiful composition. Jam & Spoon were on some kind of quality control that has yet to be surpassed. 1992 if you need to be reminded! Unbelievable in it's emotional content and delivery. You're wrong if you think differently. Simple as that.

  • @OwainS Indeed!

  • gret great feeling!

  • This song the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nearly 20 years old. Love it!

  • Masterpiece... Brings back very nice memories... Thanks...

  • I didn´t know this song was so old. I heard it first time on 1996. Great track!!

  • My older brother used to be into techno/rave and introduced me to all these awesome tracks. I remember I used to listen to their Tripomatic Fairytales album as a kid, letting it lul me to sleep. Stella and 'Odyssey to Anyoona' are some of my favourite songs of all time.

    Cheers!

  • A Top, Top tune!

  • This is one of the songs that enlightened me to the wonders of trance and out of the dreck of pop dance.

  • just an absolutely amazing song. reminds me of summertime and beaches.

  • proper music, proper times. .. legendary. .

  • Tales Of A Danceographic Ocean was my first house-12-inch ever... This brings back lots of good memories... :)

  • Here is were i heal my hurts ;)

Stella made me feel alive,it made my passion 4 music grow ; ) tune !!!

Master work , a piece of art , love and magic

  • I was a Dee Jay in LA and I was playing in a small club, I played this song and I never head a reaction in the crowd like that, it was magic 1993

  • super fly tune...!!!Awesome

  • TL;DR: I give a positive personal opinion.

It's the first time I'm hearing this track, even though I've been into this kind of stuff for years: the ravier tunes from the early 90s which were the genepool of... basically most of the (electronic) dance music we listen to now, I guess.

Forget that. Honestly - except for the guitar chord line, which I found really distracting - I think 'Stella' actually holds up to the times. I wouldn't be surprised to hear this in a quirkier dubstep/UK funky set.

  • it sounds like Canyon - Twighlight from space age 1.0

  • classic...why those years cant return?

  • Top tune

  • dancing in my chair, wife is looking at me like i'm crazy.

so many memories dancing to this song...

  • @Aldon3 Don't worry about wife..she may never get it. Just to let you know, I'm sexily mushing you at your side...You're not crazy...you're just in love...with a song and a moment. GOOD FOR YOU!!! xxxoooo

  • @Aldon3 feel old much?

  • @ameic Not with this song playing I don't. @alaina66. Few people really truly understand how brilliant and liberating this song is...

  • @ DerGraf303 : where is the location?

    Thanx in advance!

  • it's located at the main cemetry in Frankfurt. It's a bit hard to find but if you once going to visit it, just write me again and I will try to explain you the way

  • one of the best ever!

  • what a classic tune. visited marks grave last year, RIP

  • legends dont die!!! i remeber top100 greatest trance songs

  • It is just a great track that brings back many good memories, not some Oakenfold lame ass trance or epic house crap.

  • This is NOT the record that started Trance. What a stupid thing to say. And big jaughs to anyone that cites wikipedia as a source in a row.

  • if speaking on facts, then this is involved in the beginning of trance.

but lets forget that for a minute and focus on what these music styles are and represent. im pretty sure it wasnt the idea of jam, spoon or anyone else that some kids have stupid arguments over the internet on wheter its this style or that. what about you all agree, that its history and great, and shut the hell up and enjoy the music?

  • dude, read about jam & spoon on wikipedia. this song is what started trance, its style wasn't heard before because before 1992 everyone was producing techno, so they came out with this one. might not be Trance but its what started it.

  • are you MAD!!!! trance is NOT an option on this comment list. twat.

  • this isn't house music. its trance. its what started trance.

  • Oh my! What an absolute top tune! One of the best house trax EVER!!!! This is real house music! Ravers unite!!!! Peace. One love!

  • I am in awe of this music.

I also don' t find it surprising that I have given a thumbs up to more people's comments here than on any other channel vid. The msuic attracts good safe and sound people.

    As we used to say 'N.ice A.nd S.afe A.ttitude'

  • I miss the days of the mid to late 90's....where did they go??

The music today is ok..but there are no more anthems made...and whats good today is played out in less than 3 months time.

Truly the golden age of clubland.

  • There are a few good tunes here and
