I always thought (for about 20 years) that Mark Knopfler was the greatest rock guitarist until I heard Tom Morello play the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Bruce Springsteen. I love good technical acoustic guitarists, Peter Finger is by far my favorite acoustic, but I got to say, I prefer Rage Against the Machine to Tom Morello's solo attempts. There's passion in the lyrics, but no depth in the guitar.
