  • What an incredible phenomenon. The human brain is amazing

  • Wow, all that intelligence and he cant even speak fuckin English pwoperly. If he's so smart, why does he sound like Elmer Fudd? Another Cocknee retard I guess.

  • @Zigazigah99 Fucking imbecil, he has autism. Your another clueless retard who likes to bash on others I guess.

  • @Zigazigah99 really?..you cant even spell properly right.. -_-... jesus christ...and its called autism you idiot a disease that you probably dont even understand. Anyway, its clear that your a brainless troll whos not worth anything so i dont even know why im bothering with you.

  • He really doesn't seem like he has autism...unless its the most spectacular, positive form of autism ever witnessed. He doesn't really show much qualities of autism other than being a savant.

  • @heyheyparty It's because he has a rare form of savant. He explains it in fairly good detail in interviews and in his books.

  • @heyheyparty He did in early ages but not in the same way, watch the other documentarys about him, amazing I tell u

  • @heyheyparty He does have autism but its not severe enough to hamper his social skills too significantly although he himself says he still has trouble.

  • Cool, I sorta have this a bit with days and months. They each have a color and position on a wheel. Not nearly as useful as this guy's ability though :-(

  • This guy is not a savant or a genius. He is a former world memory championships competitor and is making a living with this act (see eg. the book "Moonwalking with Einstein"). What he does is a skill, not a talent. He is quite skilled at it as well as bullshitting.

  • @Inci7atus ur a dumbass

  • @wiancben123 Indeed, finding out about things sure is dumb.

  • @Inci7atus I'm sure he's probably a former world memory championship competitor because of being a savant with Synesthesia. He learnt icelandic (reputedly the hardest language to learn) in a week and did an interview on icelandic tv. Simply remembering words wouldnt be enough here since he'd be required to formulate sentences etc.

  • @hia07gfh Thanks for the civil comment. He may well be extremely talented linguistically and he is obviously very bright, but the fact remains that many things concerning his past remain very dubious. He was for example #1 in the "names and faces" event in the WMC, and early interviews note that he never forgets someones name. Later on he has claimed that he can't remember anyone's face, a common feature in autism. So how/why did he become terrible at it after being the world's best...

  • @Inci7atus

    source?

  • @Inci7atus what are your talents ? being an asshole, lol

  • He is the pride and joy of the rainbow movement,by the way, one of his book is dedicated to his partner(isn't that the sodomite term used for the?)

  • Tammet said that there are only about 20-25 savants with his ability.

They should get most to all of these prodigious savants together, and have a big feast. The upside? filmmakers capture their conversations and reactions toward each other, whilst we watch the beauty unfold.

  • But Picasso said he didn't paint what he saw, but what he wanted to see.

  • Isn't an English man meant to pronounce Vincent Van Gogh as "Vincent Van Goff"

  • Neuroscientists must love this guy.

  • A truly remarkable person who is not affected by his brilliance.

  • ok, he's good with numbers and languages... but his paintings are shit.

  • @anoziraflaminghot his paintings are shit because you don`t understand them. they don`t make any sense to a regular guy like you or me. those paintings represent the shapes and colors he sees in his imagination when thinking of numbers... it`s like when you see the word fuck on a page your brain immediately makes a connection with a hot chick or so:D

  • I didn't see any amazing abilities demonstrated.

  • i can clap with one hand.

  • what if he took lsd woow that would be a powerfull trip

  • @jubasman2010 what if lsd made him normal? and it shut off his gift forever? lol

  • this guy didnt do anything that would help people all over the world, only genius I know was Nikola Tesla and this guy doesnt come near when it comes to intelligence and brain power

  • @kizaru333

lol, if you really believe that, you dont know the first thing about intelligence. it has nothing to do with being a "good person".

classic example: if you find a wallet, what would be the "intelligent" thing to do?! give it back? no. keep it. because giving it back is the ethic decision. the logical thing to do is to keep it. why?

given: find money, problem: need money, solution: keep money.

emotions are the opposite of logic, thats why love and money dont mix.

  • @elektrokuma

There is no intelligent decision until you define your goals.

What intelligent reason is there to care about money? To buy things? But then why care about those things?

Emotions are not the opposite of logic. "Logic" can not exist without an aim. For something to be logical or illogical you must first define your core values and goals you are aiming at. It's today's society that makes logic seem opposite of emotion, because our values are so screwed up and deep down we know it!

  • when you point the finger at somebody else i hope you know that you yourself have three fingers pointing back at you

  • cowurs and textuas

  • @BOKNOWSCOMPUTERS

When you make fun of someone's accent I hope you know that you yourself have an accent and other made make fun of it.

  • @MrAsaphelps actually i have no accent, fingerprints, or personality sorry

  • @BOKNOWSCOMPUTERS

To bad you have a cyber existence.

  • @bceugene12345 Again, I said *in THIS video*. There's not even a mention of languages in THIS video. Thus he doesn't really "demonstrate amazing ability" HERE.

  • He's looking good -- keep it up Daniel!

  • if this planet was full of human beings exactlly like him. we would not even be on this planet anymore

  • @GamerDude485 Savants aren't usually scientists, and great scientists are almost never savants. Werner Heisenberg was quick to learn and prodigious at mental arithmetic. By contrast, Niels Bohr was notably considered slow to catch on to other scientists' explanations and rather messy at pure maths. Both helped usher in quantum mechanics and neither could have done it alone. It takes a lot of different types of intelligence to move humanity along.

  • @MrMJ7 Yes, he's homosexual, what's big deal about that?

  • @Ausiz sources

  • @seriall1337 Go to wikipedia article "Daniel Tammet", there is stated: "He met his first partner, software engineer Neil Mitchell, in 2000. Tammet lived with HIM in Kent (...)Tammet described Mitchell as "the love of his life" ..."Tammet now lives with a new partner, Jérôme Tabet, a 29-year-old photographer whom he met while promoting his autobiography". And there are much more sources about that, just google it. His homosexuality was never a big secret. It's just sexual orientation...

  • @Ausiz Thanks. Ofc I have no problems with it, it's just that a lot of people often call other people gay just by the way they act.

  • A man with such a brilliant mind most probably deduced that women simply aren't worth the trouble! (I'm kidding.)

  • @visa yep, same thing with leonardo da vinci :)

  • There is more truth in that statement than most people are comfortable with.

  • @visa They aren't and I'm not kidding.

  • @visa fuck bitches, this man could solve any practical human problem. women truly arent worth the trouble for him

  • @visa hahah! love that

  • @Ausiz it's not a big deal just that they're minority group, unsustainable in the long run, somewhat physiologically unnatural. it's stil punishable in some societies and only recently got taken off pyschological disorders list with such things as schizophrenia although fuck all of that shit.

  • @maxgunn555 Since when is homosexuality unnatural ? Homosexuality existed even before the birth of the first human being, it's always been there and in fact, most animals don't have a specific sexual preference. People don't become homosexual, they are born that way. There's a thick line between what human morals say is wrong and what isn't natural.

  • @Neuroneos well its not unnatural in that sense. but literally if everyone's sexuality was only gay ie they were repulsed by woman then that means the end of mankind in the long run as there would be no reproduction.

  • @maxgunn555 Well, it's not the case as far as I know.

  • @Neuroneos what?

  • @Neuroneos Religious morals, I am a human and do not hold that to be a morally correct statement. Furthermore there is really no such thing as unnatural there is artificial.

  • @Ausiz Yeah, considering all of his remarkable abilities (understatement), you're stuck on the fact he's homosexual? That is totally and completely irrelevant.

  • @Ausiz is he really?? I didnt know that

  • @Ausiz Umm.. Considering he has a wife?

  • @whoooosyadaddy He never had a wife. His first partner Neil Mitchell (with whom he lived together) is MAN. His second (current) partner Jerome Tabet is also man, but well enough about his homosexuality. It's just his preferences...

  • @Ausiz yeah right it not a big deal to dream about a huge cock. (FREAK) go find the highest building and jump from the last floor you cocksucker

  • @bingobongo1994

If you don't stop being such a homophobe I'm gonna suck you off so hard.

  • @bingobongo1994 It's sad how narrow your world must be.

  • @Ausiz hes not gay you gaylord

  • @Ausiz ok he is gay i checked it up. but that ruins the chance of him giving birth to another tammet

  • @Ausiz

Homosexuality is natural in nature, nature's contraception.

  • @MrMJ7 Are you a jackass because you write like one?

  • @MrMJ7 you do not have to be gay to be smart ,asshole

  • wonder what colors he sees when in front of a pussy

  • @sirtoan I beleive he is gay, so he's not going to be seeing much of that

  • hey, when i see numbers, or think of days of the weeks or months i see colours....is that what he's talking about??? ...cause i jus thought its because i have artistic talent cause i draw alot for people and companies

  • @MoneyBlocc868 Yep, you just described synesthesia. Perhaps one of the main reasons you have such artistic talent is because of your synethesia. Something to think about...it's very fascinating.

  • im by no means considered stupid, but after watching videos on this guy i feel like im extremely inferior

  • @IsabelleWagner24 don't. the guy is a fraud artist. he once claimed to be a psychic as well. read "moonwalking with einstein". he got exposed BAD.

  • @exscape Go watch the boy with the incredible brain!!!! that will blow you away 5 parts watch them all.

  • @Calhoun1186 I have. Re-read my first sentence :)

  • Tammet is amazing indeed, but I can't say I find anything in this video impressive. Synesthesia isn't that rare, and, well, he doesn't do any superhuman calculations here that I can see.

  • @exscape Maybe not in this video, but he did become fluent in Icelandic in a week which is insane. He also holds the record for the most digits recited from Pi (for Europeans)

  • 8 likes, 0 dislikes. geez those 0 people are just totally jealous ;)

  • I wish I had those powers I would use it alot

  • Daniel Tammet is really AMAZING........okay, more than AMAZING!!!!!
