nano doesn't deserve a camera ipod touch needs it

I have an ipod touch 2gen jailbroken on the 2.1.1 firmware, should i upgrade to 3.1.1 when it comes out? cause i downloaded a ton of cracked apps and i dont want to have to download them again.... i just feel stupid having such an out of date firmware.... what should i do??

OMG! WTF IS WRONG WITH APPLE!!!!! WHY WOULD THEY PUT A CAMERA ON THE NANO. BUT NOT THE TOUCH. THEY JUST LOST THOUSANDS OF BUYERS TO THE ZUNE HD. EVEN I'M THINKIN ABOUT GETTIN A ZUNE HD NOW. I MEAN I NO IT WOULD HAVE DEDUCTED IPHONE SALES BUT COME ON. WOULD THE SALES 4 THE IPOD TOUCH BE DOUBLE OR EVEN TRIPLED? ENOUGH TO COVER THE LOSS OF IPHONE SALES.

what is the point of puting a camera on the touch. might as well add a sim card slot and boom a slim touch phone. what would be nice if the material on the iphone would be used on the ipod touch (the back of the iphone)
