the VFC rifles are tested with a 12 volt car battery before they leave the factory. A small 7.4 or even an 11.1 is perfect for the stock if you are having battery troubles.

i have the Classic Army Scar in tan, compared to my friend's echo 1 scar, mine kicks its ass, it is solid and a nice weight, and it doesn't shoot 380fps, it shoots around 320, like most of Classic Army's aeg's. Im not going to say that the VFC or STAR scars suck compared to it, because i have never owned them, im just giving my opinion on the Classic Army and Echo 1 versions

@gangsta0019 , Actually, the VFC has a lower fps, which is better, so you can bring it into CQB. The VFC IS the right shade of tan, and the right material, which is polymer lower reciever and aluminum upper reciever. However, you are correct about the Echo 1 having the price advantage. Also, the VFC has about 1000 rpm with a 9.4v and the Echo 1 has about 800 rpm with a 9.6v. Also, the Echo 1's shade if tan is NOT correct. It may look better than the VFC's, but the VFC's is the CORRECT shade.

And he said the Dboys' SCAR has a bad shade of tan, not the VFC. Also, just to tell you, VFC pays A LOT of attention to detail. On the VFC SCAR-L, it even has the correct shaped magazine. VFC has a CORRECT SHADE OF TAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!

@snakeye54 ill admit i guess i dont know much about the vfc, but what i do know is that the actual 7.62 51mm fn scar h is one of the longest range assault rifles made so thats pretty lame to have an airsoft scar that hardly gets any range. also 24 rps doesnt add up to 1000 rpm. that would be 17 rps so yea... also im not going to lie i dont know much about the "shade of tan" but im just not crazy about the vfc's" i say the asc h is better because its very price effective. vfc is way too expensive

@gangsta0019 , There is no 7.62x51mm FN SCAR-H, it is 7.62x51mm NATO. Trust me, there is a HUGE difference. Also, the SCAR-H is actually meant for close to mid-range. The only reason it fires a larger round than a SCAR-L is because it is more powerful, which is easier to take someone down. Plus, the recoil isn't too big of a difference. And, the price doesn't matter. Just save up. It's like spending 15 bucks on a springer than saving up for a GBB. Anyway, you already got it, it's already done.

JG is supposed to be a beginner-intermediate airsoft gun company. VFC, KWA, and Classic army are all professional companies. Also, the SCAR-H is not one of the longest range assault rifles. Not even close. The SCAR-H SSR is, but the internals on the real SCAR-H and SCAR-H SSR are completely different. I'm sorry you paid 100 bucks less for a gun that sucks.

And when somebody says "cloned", it means the external build quality is supposed to be the same, although Echo 1 has a MUCH thinner reciever. And also, I'm not a little kid, I'm 14. The VFC Scar has horrible internals. You're getting a preupgraded scar for 120 less.

The only thing I dislike is the low quality of the bolt catch system and the upper reciever is a little to dark.

And, yes the Echo 1 DOES have a thinner, and shittier material. And, I do own my OWN VFC and I have a Echo 1, except I sold my Echo 1 after I got my VFC. And, The Echo 1 does NOT take town like the VFC at all. And, like I said, the VFC DOES have the correct shade. The Echo 1 and G&G are a bit lighter.

The Echo 1 only shoots about 700-800rpm with an 8.4 OR 9.6. The VFC shoots about 1200 with a 9.6. I's like to see you post your shitty Echo 1.

I have a Dboys SCAR Mk16 in Tan. It doesn't look weird, it looks like a SCAR... They're all the same colour. I don't have a loose stock, you should check your bolts. The Hi-Cap magazine does feel loose but you can just do like me and buy Magpul mags and it becomes a lot better. I also have a friend with a Star SCAR and the GL is optional, dudes. The only thing I don't like is the fact that my Dboys SCAR doesn't have a functional bolt catch to hold the hop up cover...

@Pengama their are some plastic parts but i have found that its not much of a problem except the hop up unit which i have ONLY broken once in the vfc the others break alot more often (worst is the echo 1) if you get the L version then you should be able to use a m4 hop up unit but in the heavy version (the one i have) you cannot. however the heavy has 500rd mags so its kinda a tradeoff

you can unscrew the bolt pin and screw it on the other side.

the firing selctor can be switched on both sides.

the mag release though is just only on the right side.
