The problem is that while there is DEFINITELY proof of God's existence, those that don't actually have an interest in finding Him, and instead act like they do but actually only seek to debunk Him will never accept what proof He has given. I don't have room to talk about the proof of God, but just know that, the Bible says that the understanding of Him is a blessing reserved for those who are His children. It's not a trick. and it actually makes sense if you think about it. we aren't ALL His.

Seriously? Have you read the lyrics to "Dead Man Walking?" While I agree it doesn't affect their sound, I must say I'd rather them cry about a bitch than repeat, " Can you feel the glory of god?" Over and over. Like I said theyd at least seem smarter/deeper. Music sounds good, maybe they'll decide to sing about something meaningful.

To me, and I'd bet many others, music is about the sound more than anything else; otherwise instrumental tracks wouldn't exist. I'm a fan of these guys and whitechapel and thy art is murder. Regardless of whether the lyrics are about God, or hacking slashing raping, it's still good music. So why bitch about it?

@arcangelofjesus You could not be farther off. There is no straight edge symbol in that symbol. It's a Greek symbol that represents Christ called a "Chi-Rho." People being straight edge in the band have little to do with what Sleeping Giant is about.

The symbol was first used when Emperor Constantine saw it in the sky when he was going into war. At that second, he turned to God and became the first Christian emperor. He would then paint the symbol on his soldiers shields and it stood for, simply "The army of God." Or something like that...
