He was unresponsive while we were there so idk what happened to him

On the way home from my riders test to get my license i was in a car accident that if on a bike would have been very bad injury wise, someone pulled out and side swiped me in a big white freakin ute so if he didn't see me then i would of had no hope on a bike. scary shit. i got my motorcycle license last october and ive been saving up for my first bike. but after hearing all the stories and seeing videos like this, im not going to get one anymore. last week i met this kid my age (22), who lost his left arm and needed to have heart surgery as a result of his motorcycle crash. it made the dangers of riding a motorcycle all too real for me. im also a nurse and i know the number one way to avoid trauma is to prevent it from happening in the first place
@daviewavie112 That's the reason i only ride on tracks now. I learned on the street 25 years ago,and unfortunately i had a few broken bones. I've had no problems on a track. Take it to the track,and you'll have a blast... The street is no safe place to learn how to ride, not only do you risk head-on collisions,but you have cars and big rigs that can take you out... Remember, riding motorcycles is an extreme sport weather you're on the street or track, and injuries come with the territory....
