I have two aunts who are twins, they both have cerebral-palsy and me and my family surprised them a couple weeks ago at the group home they live at for their birthday, they live in the Wendall Foster center in Owensboro,Ky where the Waltrips are from, and I love it when I see a smile on their faces, it's a 15 hour drive to get to them and my family can't go that often, it just saddens me that I might never see one of them again, since they are in their late 60s and have been at that group home

Adam is doing great. We take him to a race every year and with the help of some special people at NASCAR.com, we're able to access the garage area and get tons of autographs every race. Adam's going to Phoenix this month and KC in October. He's pumped.

This is so awesome! I am a big supporter of the United way and the reason is that it goes back to local community. Sorry for the late update. We went to KC again for both races and it was almost as exciting as the first time. He met 10 new drivers that he didn't get to meet last year, including his 2nd favorite driver, Carl Edwards and this years champ, Jimmy Johnson. Nothing was planned, it all just fell into place for Adam. Another very special weekend with tons of memories. I've known Adam for a little over a year now and I still choke back tears watching these videos.

This brings tears to my eyes. I have been very fortunate enough to go to a few NASCAR races in my 17 years of life. It is amazing to see someone get the surprise of a lifetime to go and see their first race. As a NASCAR fan, thats the ultimate thing is to go and see a race up close, I was 9 when I first went to a race and I was off the wall the entire weekend. The reaction Adam had when he found out he was going to the race is worth it all. I was just like him when I got to go to my first race.

It was an experience of a lifetime. He met and got autographs of about 20 drivers, 4 team owners and got to spend about 10 minutes with Dale Jr. Just search ihsinc on youtube to see all of his videos. It was truely amazing.

Thanks for the kind words. We met Adam a few weeks before this video was shot and his only dream in life was to go to a real NASCAR race and meet Dale Jr. We fell in love with Adam, he is such an awesome young man so we wanted to do something special for him. We have some good connections so in a matter of 5-6 weeks we were able to coordinate a private meeting with Dale Jr. Everyone else was icing on the cake. We are going back to KC in a few weeks for both races again. He's just as excited!!!
