Depends really. By 'this type of music' I assume you mean hard rock, because no one else does music quite like Muse :D

Myself I prefer the subtler tones of a Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster, rather than the sheer brute force of the Les Paul, but if you're into stadium rock, a Les Paul or SG is probably the way to go for starters. If you're interested in the more metal side, you might want to go for either an Ibanez or a Jackson.
