My Dad was a tail gunner on B-26s in the 19th Squadron 22nd Bomb Group in the Pacific Theater in 1942 & 1943. Then he flew on B-24s in Europe after that.
Wish there was some background info on these clips. Does anyone know what airbases these were shot at? Which Bomb Group or squadron? I couldn't see the tail markings. Great footage though and I look forward to seeing any additional info that may be available. Thanks - Daughter of Marauder Man FE-Gunner.
Terrible shame the digital copy is so awful, as this is historic footage of unsung heroes.
