WOW! Bill, I love this. Think I'm going to start me an instrumental playlist, and this one will surely be there. Thanks for sharing your talent with me. Appreciate you stopping by my place for a listen.
@ThePerpetualwoman Hey Ginnie thanks for the compliment. I love your picking and I know you will do a great job on it. It's one of my favorites too. Thanks for listening...KOP...Bill
Hey Bill, that was clean and crisp just like Chester played it. Chord progression was well executed. I really miss that old tune and the days gone by of playing that song with good ole "Joe Maphis". That is one of the most complex executions to get out of those minors and get back to the origin of the song. Keep those fingers nimble, most of us older folks have trouble keeping up with the pace. Doesn't seem to bother you any though. Your pickin' buddy...Rog
@MrRogermaynor Thanks Roger,,yes I am starting to slow down too. I have the solid Bigsby arm and it kinda got in my way doing that forward roll and changing the cord in the roll. Yes I'm like you Roger we have lived through some good time with the great guitar pickers we had. I really miss them but time keeps moving on..Take care my friend.....Bill
@normwillev Thank you Norm, I agree with you the cords and the fingering you have to do with the rolls makes it tough. But I'm glad you liked it that makes it worth while......Bill
@dynodon12 Hey Guys, Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked it...I'm a fan of Nokies and always have been . You guys take care and stay warm if you can.....Bill
What do you mean feeble attempt? Don't sell yourself short. Sounds great (very Chetish) to me. This is one of my favorites that I've heard you play - that was smooth, Billie. I've heard this song before, but I didn't know the name of it.
@MrJimdeb Thanks Jim&Deb...The hard part is that forward roll and I di it with thumb and 3 fingers and it's kind hard cord changes during the roll and my Bisgby get's in my way a little. I have the stationary arm. .but thanks..Bill
Hi Bill: Well, you can't prove to me it was hard for you. You play with such ease. Love the song, and you done it beautifully. Just keep it up, my friend. Just great!!!. Gwen
I used to play this on acoustic. Not as well as you, but it makes me smile all the same.
