If this tutorial is similair to someone elses, so what? I'm not subscribed to this 'silvermagic' and I haven't come across his videos. If Alex wants to create these tutorials, he can. After all, it's just giving a wider range of auidence an understanding on jQuery.
@AL7X7 Thanks for your support. There was a lot of confusion about me 'stealing' videos, which is absurd because there is no need for me to do so. Glad you like the tutorials.
Explain to me why you are not stealing Silvermagics work? cause in my eyes your just removing comments on your videos and aswell on your channel so what are you hiding?
@LiGhTwOlF1308 By creating a video explaining what jQuery is, what it's used for, and the benefits is not stealing someones work. I didn't use any of his code, nor his video. I outlined the video series he was originally going to create, therefore I've only followed my own series guidelines. I'm deleting comments because they're annoying and uncalled for.
@Animatixxking Silvermagics also stopt a while ago with tutorials and i don't think he'll start again becuase he works at a webdesign company (I know him)
jquery is very very useful and it help saves a lot of time writing codes, most of the time a crap tons of javacript code can be achieved by just a few lines of jquery codes. Thanks for starting this tutorial series.
@TheRightNeutrino you'll need jquery if you want to be a programmer... if you only know PHP you won't get accepted to many jobs, especially with the competition around.
Hi, PhpAcademy. If there's any chance you could help me with this script, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's jQuery/Ajax and PHP combined. It has a couple of errors that I can't seem to find.

@phpacademy ok.
So… the development version has 198kb of memory more than production? Oh my!
(or am I just bad at reading?)
JelvinJS7 7 months ago
@JelvinJS7 The production version has all whitespace removed from the code (since Javascript works without indentation etc).

Omg yay! I've wanted to learn jQuery, but alas, tis been hard. Videos are better for scripting tutorials, in my opinion.
Quick Question: other than readability, is there any real difference between the production and development versions of jQuery?
JelvinJS7 7 months ago
@JelvinJS7 No, they operate the same. The production is just faster loading when you just need to access the library.
phpacademy 7 months ago
@JelvinJS7 "production" version has all whitespace removed and variable names are shortened. Development versions just have the code as-is.

LimmenThijs 7 months ago
how is that related to PHP in any way? it doesn't, but still great idea, jQuery is a great tool. Hope there are more videos about jQuery to come.
TheRightNeutrino 7 months ago
@TheRightNeutrino Jquery/Javascript is combined with Ajax. Ajax uses PHP though. So it's related to PHP
LimmenThijs 7 months ago
@LimmenThijs *used for Ajax
LimmenThijs 7 months ago
@LimmenThijs agree, I've already written some AJAX so i remember now.
