Believe me, you have no idea how much I wish what you said was true. Unfortunately there *is* a Jungle Book 2. It was a direct-to-DVD crap-fest that Disney churned out in 2003, along with a host of other lousy DVD-only sequels. :(

It does look like it plays (oh so slightly) similar to DKC, but i doubt that playing as the kid from the jungle book 2 accually makes it feel kong-like, but still, it look like it took some effort to make this, like the "K-o-n-g" letters, if there's not something similar to it in the JB2, i would give it a 5 out of 10, an extra 3 for the effort put into this goddamn pirate.

Whoa! That is crazy!  The world map even has the banner saying "Donkey Kong Country," which is a dead giveaway.

It would be funny if you had to collect letters to spell out "KIPLING." They could've done that to cover up another dead giveaway: spelling out "KONG." If you don't know that guy, he wrote the Jungle Book (the book).
