It takes all sorts of critters to make farmer vincents fritters LMAO saw this in theatres way back then....and Ivan and the Terribles rocked LOL believe it or not kids..there was a time when this crap was scary LMAO!!!
I remember watching this movie when i was seven years old, and i can not find this movie in any movie store. Looking back on it now it was a corny movie but i like it when i was seven. It was one of my first scary movies. The first one was Alien. And after that i have grown to love scary movies.
Theres a 70s cult horror classic kind of like the original last house on the left about a girl whos beatin and raped left for dead and then seeks her revenge. does anyone know what it might be
How did this movie get funding? Most individual crazed killers seem to quietly flame out, but these two nuts seemed to think this was just a dandy way to fertilize their vegetables! Totally nutsy! Best part of the movie is seeing John Katzenberger (Cliff from 'Cheers') as a young punk rocker!
I WARNED YOU CHRISTIANS, DELIVERANCE IS COMING, SEAL YOUR SELF WITH HOLY SPIRIT!
Remember this admonition of the Lord: Touch not the unclean thing; and I WILL RECEIVE YOU, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor.6:17,18
"It takes all kindsa critters to make Farmer Vincent's Fritters!" "Meat's meat and Man's gotta eat!" "Well Mother, I think this one's about ripe" ----This movie has more great classic quotes than Casablanca.
seriously almost every horror movie that has been made between 2000 and 2009 is eigther a shitty remake of a good 70s or 80 horror movie or some bullcrap college project movie that could have been awesome if they had more budget
COULD SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE SOME AWESOME GORY HORROR MOVIES?
Didn't say Hostel was great either... It's a torture movie like Saw. All opinions really, not saying yours is right. But I find them crap, as a lot of people do. They draw fewer numbers than say... Ghost related horror movies typically.
First time I watched this,I was really disturbed by what that GROSTESQUE fat lady and that man did 2 those people. The noises they were makin also disturbed me. I was 10,but now it really doesn't bother me. That pig face will always haunt me though. DON'T stay at Motel Hell or The Bates Motel.
If you take it for what it is this is a very good horror movie. It is funny and not meant to be taken seriously. There are MANY great quotes from this movie which you will remember during the dismember.
24.saw this when 13 on video with a mate. somehow, it always stuck with me. its a disturbing but glorious movie-i think john waters would approve. the score stands out for me,such good music. but i love the "wrongness" of motel hell. i pray ... for..the day..i .. check...out..
SHIT, forgot all about, "Don't Look in the Basement," "Let's Scare Jessica to Death," "Shriek of the Mutilated" and "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" all also from the 70's (golden era of trash horror)!
LOL this guy at Applebees mention atleast 3/4 of tha movies you just did..and ur absolutely right tha 80'"slasher" films got severly lame but did have new life within Scream in tha 90's and Hostel(maybe).I do recall alot of alien horror movies as well and of course killer robots and clowns,etc..tha 80's did have its good time with horror though..btw is anybody else still freaked out by tha garden scene in this one?! just those noises and images ugh!
1980 to be exact, which really places it more with the 70's kind of horror film, than it does with the 80's, which became really moronic as the decade wore on. "Sisters" is another great one from the glorious 70's; also, "Eaten Alive."
That dude Vincent is from a old CBS soap opera called "Capitol".I think his name is Rory Calhoun. I seen this movie about 5 years ago on AMC late at night.

Not a stupid film at all...it's humorously self-referential like "Scream" was 18 years later, and also like "Scream" delivers some shocks...
"There's too manny people in the world, and not enough food. This solves both problems." How can you not love a line like that?
Also similar in spirit and intent to "Cabin Fever"...
