I wish i had that experience at 7! I did however get the experience of my grandpa teaching me to bodysurf when i was quite young, which held me in good stead when i later got into surfing.

hi Mr Aipa, here's Carlos at 7yo in Noosa Heads. In this video he's on a 6'4" fish, a 9'6" Takayama and right at the end, a Mctavish 9'6". He rides everything; singles, quads, twinnies, long and short. And soon he will have his first proper modern style shortboard!!!!!!! I'm the kook hanging out with him. Mahalo, Ben in H.K.
